14 Day Cooling Off Period
Every Service Agreement purchased is subject to a 14-day cooling off period. This allows the Service Provider and the Customer to cancel the service agreement without penalty. Please note that any claim submitted within this 14-day period will be subject to a mandatory £95 Excess. If subsequently www.247homerescue.co.uk the Breakdown is deemed to be as a result of an intermittent or pre-existing fault the claim will be declined. In such circumstances a Pay on Use Service is available. The 14-day cooling off period commences from the date of inception of the claim or receipt of agreement whichever is sooner.
Provided you have paid your contract fees, we will guarantee that our engineers will conduct one annual service (if this has been purchased), safety and operational check (this will be a Gas Safe recommended service not a manufacturer’s service) in any 12-month period.

24 7 waste of money
I had a very disappointing experience with this boiler insurance company.
The engineer identified a faulty fan, which is a normal repair, but then also claimed that the entire boiler casing needed replacing because the insulation was damaged. This dramatically increased the repair cost and resulted in the boiler being considered beyond economical repair.
What I don't understand is why this insulation issue was never mentioned during the annual service carried out by the same company just a few months earlier. If it was such a serious problem, surely it should have been identified then.
From my own research, replacement insulation is inexpensive, so recommending replacement of the entire casing seems excessive. I asked for a clear technical explanation but have yet to receive one.
I bought the policy for peace of mind, knowing my boiler is 16 years old. Instead of feeling supported when I needed to make a claim, I was left questioning whether every reasonable repair option had been properly considered.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company unless they improve the consistency and transparency of their claims process.

Top customer experience and great price
From the moment I took out the policy for our boiler they have been on hand to help. I was called during the signup process to see if I needed assistance and called within 2 days to arrange the boiler service, which was carried out by a local plumber who was very professional. The price was highly competitive and I am very pleased with the customer service from this company.
