I have used this company a number of…

I have used this company a number of times over the last few years, on the last 2 occasions I arrived and paid the late collection fee only to find myself waiting at the arrivals hall with nobody to meet me,some 30-40 minutes later I receive a phone call to tell me the car is ready and to make my way to the other end of the car parking to be met by a very rude staff member. The last rental several weeks ago I arrived at 11 pm and put a 6 pm tba return time as I had not yet the return flight. I receive a phone call at 6 pm stating that on this occasion he will give me the grace of allowing me to return the car at 9 pm, very very rude, I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN , use them if you want unprofessional and expensive service.

Terrible company

Terrible company! I rented a car for 4 days in december.
Immediately a good price. BUT, they charge 700 euros in deposit. The course turned out to have a difference of 50 euros !! Which meant that it was a very expensive pleasure. But not only that, I first got my deposit back after 1½ months, when I had literally pulled the company 25 times. Always the same standard comment where they begin with "dear sir / madame". They didn't even have time to write my name. Likewise, one cannot call the company.
NEVER rent a car from this company.

We are going to see Mr. Budig, you commit a traffic infraction and you are unable to recognize that you must wait for us to do the processing of your infraction. Solole we have charged the cost of processing your complaint from the police, other companies would have charged € 100. I regret that you do not understand that when you drive in the opposite direction on the public road, this has consequences. Now you write us very badly to hurt us on social networks but this is unfair you have to assume that when you do not drive properly you assume the consequences and this must be taken care of by all customers who rent a car anywhere in the world. Our prices are very good and for this reason we can not assume the expenses that you cause when you drive are yours. On the other hand if you want the cheapest rate with basic insurance, you assume certain risks that you have to understand, you want to pay the cheapest and receive VIP service, that does not exist in any company in the world that gives an honest service.

CAREFUL!!! DON´T USE THIS COMPANY! THEY KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT!

We (my parents in law, my husband and myself) arrived at AGP on September 28th, 2018 with a delay of more than 5 hours due to the strike of the Ryanair personnel in Germany. When we went to the bus ticket store, we were told that we would have to wait another 1,5 hours until the bus would leave.

My parents in law are in their 80s and were quite exhausted by that time; therefore we spontaneously decided to rent a car. As I usually make car reservations via the internet where I can compare prices and see ratings of car rental companies, I was somehow lost and asked a parking lot organizer with a green t-shirt on the airport’s parking deck where to find the car rental bureaus.. He told me that I could rent a car from his company as this was also their business and we rented a car on the spot.

Everything was okay and we returned the car as agreed without any damage etc. However, some weeks later I found that the company 1rentacar had unjustifiably kept the deposit of € 300,00. I immediately contacted them and asked them to return the money which they agreed to do. However, they pretended to have some difficulties with their system, then with their accounting department, and thus have kept me waiting for months now.

When I checked their credibility in the internet – what I surely had done if I had booked beforehand – I found that this is obviously their business model! There are identical complaints of numerous customers. Therefore, beware!

!!!PLEASE AVOID THAT COMPANY!!!!

1st of all, i rented a car , they gave a car with several damages. They claimed that if i want a different car , i have to go to the office.
2nd. I returned the car , i was told that i will get the deposit with 1 to 2 days. It's been 1 week , i am still waiting. Anytime i call , they say that i will get my deposit as soon as possible.

!!!!Please avoid that company!!!!!

Never hire a car there!

With this company you never have to rent a car, they try to offer you a total insurance. We drove damage and said that everything would be reimbursed. Afterwards they claim huge costs while we were full insurance. Once and never again! they are scammers!

Theft. Scam. Lies .

I wish I looked on google or tristpilot before using this company.
They are obviously running a scam. Not a problem with the car we hired , that was fine.
A big problem comes when getting refunded your ‘deposit’ . I hired the car in July/August . We’re now in December and they still haven’t paid this back . They email back every so often to ‘apologise for the delay’ but the money never comes.
Malaga Airport should have a warning associated with these crooks or should stop them from trading.
Looking through trustpilot and google reviews and you can see this is not an isolated incident . They do it ALL the time.

Deposit Refund.. Don't hold your breath!!

Rented 2 cars up to 11th August. Since then I have been waiting fir the refund of my deposit, over 800 euro. The company initially advised that their card system was broken and they committed to paying directly to my account. As yet, 7 weeks later I still await the refund. Disgraceful attitude which is s a pity as their service on the ground and quality of cars was actually good.

Deposit of 750 Euros still missing after 6 weeks

I made the reservation through SolAuto, we arrived at Malaga airport on july 31 2018 and an employee met us as agreed. We got a nice CLEAN car and the car was fine. We delivered the car back after 10 days and everything was okay, nice kind staff.
But now I am still missing my deposit of 750 euros!! I have written several mails and called their office. But the same message – “they are waiting for answers from their account department and will return”!

****UPDATE**** Now 2 months after, I got my deposit refunded. I changed the stars from 1 to 3, because the service regarding the car rental itself was alright and the car was fine.

Deposit not payed back! Mailed the company several times, but the money was not payed back!

I made the reservation through Solauto, when we arrive at Malaga airport there wasn't anyone from Solauto nor 1rentacar to accomodate us at the airport, as states on our reciept. We end up calling and looking for their representative for around an hour until we find them in Malaga airports parking garage. We discover that its not representatives from Solauto but their "affiliate partner" 1rentacar that we do the car rental from. We book the car for 10 days, we deliver the car and there is no comments from the 1rentacar employee.
We were told that we would get the 700 euro deposit back within 2 weeks. Its been over 3 weeks and I have been contacting both Solauto and 1rentacar - 1rentacar forwarded my contact info to their account department, but its been silent ever since. Yesterday I called their office, and their employee told me that she wasn't at their office but would respond to my mail later that day. Still havent heard from them.
Right now Im considering getting legal help from a lawyer to get my money back.
Do not book from 1rentAcar or their affiliate partner Solauto.

I also rented a car here and wil never do this again. Paying back your deposit is very hard for this company. I'am stil waiting after 2 months.
