18 month 200Mb/s full fibre broadband at £27/month, with no mid term price increases, brilliant deal. I received my new router very quickly and the open reach installation went as planned, on the agre... See more

I had a mix up with my banking and was late with a payment,1 penny broadband were very amicable and it was sorted out without any problems, they also gave me a Great deal on my contract renewal.
They are professional and replied to every email promptly and the information was impeccable.
Straight forward service
We been with 1p for broadband and mobile phones over two years now, and we've just renewed our full fibre for another eighteen months, In that time we never needed to contact then, because there products and service is so straight forward.
Avoid at all costs, terrible service
Avoid at all costs. When you have a problem which you will because the internet is terrible you will never get through to anyone. Don’t waste your time or money on this company.
A satisfied mobile customer
As a satisfied mobile customer of 1pMobile for a number of years there was only one choice of supplier to choose. As of now all aspects of my broadband are tip top and we're expecting this satisfaction for the coming years.
Thank-you 1pBroadband !

Advertising led me to believe a land line was included in my contract, why ask me to tick box if I want to keep my land line number and show me the table of charges for for the use of said land line , I would have searched longer for a company who could
Meet my needs, l have now solved the problem at a extra cost of £10 per month

Good Broadband but gave me the wrong package without a phone line and was told it couldn't be changed. So not happy 😕
unable to connect full fibre broadband…
unable to connect full fibre broadband to my house
without knocking out my tenant's broadband.
I was told I was in breach of my contract! please pay a charge. Have had to go to Sky who answer the phone at all hours. Not satisfactory at 1P. Asked for refund after being without broadband for 3 weeks.
Speaks for itself when they then stole my landline which they promised I could keep.
Everything you said you would do you did
Everything you said you would do you did promptly and properly, I was very impressed. I dreaded setting everything back up but the router supplied sorted itself out when switched on with me only having to input the passwords , all done super quick, this was for 2 laptops, a tablet and a freesat box. Everything working well since installed 2 weeks ago. Decent price, plenty of choice regarding plans, we also have a landline covered in our plan.
Cheated me while abroad.
I was happy especially with the 5g coverage. Then I went to Corfu and despite advertising that I would be charged the same as UK they charged me £12 for a few minutes data without any warning that the signal had switched to Albania. Customer service refused to refund so I switched to Lebara which is cheaper anyway.
solid connection and router terrible communication
The connection is solid (via talktalk) and the router is excellent as its not locked down so can be configured heavily unlike the major providers. The people on the end of the phone are friendly and helpful. There have been a few issues getting setup but that has been compensated.
The setup process wasn't the best. I had no notification what time cityfibre was coming to fit my fibre cable. I wasn't even told if they were even coming out, I had to ring support myself. The router wasn't dispatched when it said it was.
The worst bit is that the phone lines don't have a queue holiding system. This means ive called customer support dozens of times and have only spoken to someone twice. However someone picks up the technical service line almost every time so I usually use them. If a queue system was put in place I think I could rate 1p 5/5.
No major problems - Whoops, I spoke too soon, 10/10/25
Just finished a 2-year contract with 1p Broadband and only had one small problem - router showed internet connection but equipment connected to internet showed NO connection. I rang them and phone was answered (eventually), checks were done and a new router sent. No further problems. Yes, I would recommend 1p Broadband and will probably return to them in 2 years' time. Am waiting, very patiently, for Openreach and partners to get fingers out and get fibre infrastructure installed!
Update 10/10/2025.
Due to their incompetence, having TWICE said that they had sent me an email informing me of the address to return their routers and having failed miserably to send ANY such communication they have the nerve to take £50 from my bank as compensation for the routers that were not returned because they could not be bothered to send me the address. As a result of this action I must now give them a big thumbs down!
Good value with a straightforward switchover.
I switched to 1p from another Full Fibre provider and it went very smoothly indeed. Swapping the routers over was painless and my new Internet connection was up and running in minutes. Connections via WiFi and Ethernet are all running well and this is saving me a fair bit of money too.
Seriously, don't do it.
I used 1pbroadband for a year and that was enough to decide to leave and never go near them again.
The connection itself was actually great - new connection went online on time, a pretty decent router was sent out in advance and the connection was fairly stable save for a few blips (underlying service is provided by TalkTalk, if you want good service, go direct to them).
1pbroadband's offering is actually poor due to the way the company is set up to do business. Payment methods are inflexible, the website is technically limited, they have unreasonable and unfavourable terms and conditions in the standard contract, the customer is penalised for leaving and customer service is terrible for the most part.
Cannot change payment methods for yourself and have to email them. After paying on time every month throughout the contract, they suspended my service without warning or advice once the final bill was a week overdue, and this was only because their own system is limited in not allowing customers to update payment details. Customer services dealing with the issue were dismissive and belligerent on the phone, assuming it was my error.
The contract is the worst part. I have read it and it's dreadful. The standard contract is so heavily loaded against the customer that if you make the unfortunate mistake to buy their service, they are immune from most issues while you are held liable for anything you do that they can punish you for. Do not take a contract with this company. If you do, read the T&Cs very closely so you understand what you are getting into. My advice would just be to go to a bigger provider that actually provides customer service.
Excellent Easy to call or email the company
Easy to call or email the company, issues sorted quickly, give the smaller cimpanys a chance they can work out cheaper to
Change better than a rest.
A family member changed their broadband. As I was looking to change also, they told me about 1p broadband and they were very pleased with the service. With what they had said,I decided to go with the same company with that said we are also really happy and pleased with the service we have received. Thank you.

1p broadband provides a relatively…
1p broadband provides a relatively stable service with few dropouts and downtime. The problems start when you contact customer service. Long waits and frequent phone disconnects. Customer service is polite but ineffective. Beware of mid-contact price hikes after the minimum term. The terms of contract, "When your minimum term ends, your monthly charge will increase by £3.00 and then again on each anniversary of that date," does not seem to be true. My charge has gone up by £12.00. Any initial promises will quickly be forgotten or killed by a 30-day change of terms. I am not sure if that is meant to follow Ofcom's best practice guidance. It seems more like a scam.

I moved away from 1p last month using a switching service. I am still being charged by 1p broadband and they are impossible to contact. Emails go unanswered and they do not answer the phone. Not even an automated message. Phone rings for ages then cuts off.
