Ordered several basic lights from this vendor with 3 weeks before having electrician scheduled. Got 2 updates with 'estimated' shipping dates delayed. Called the vendor only to have them tell me that they are a 'middle-man' and the actual manufacturer was out of stock. They told me I should order something 'similar' or wait 12-16 weeks! I was able to get them to agree to a full refund but now I'm back to square 1 with this project.

Ray walked me through a very large lighting purchase. He was helpful, informative, and responsive.

I purchased a standing lamp and it came defective where 1 part was not coupling to the other part and staying attached to keep the lamp erected. The inner threading appeared to be stripped so there wasn’t a chance of getting it together to stand safely. I reached out to Capitol Lighting and sent an attached photo of the problem, and without any back and forth my issue was resolved. A new lamp was being shipped out, I didn’t have to worry about returning the defective lamp and communication regarding the process each step of the way to shipment was a breeze.
Whatever the model for this company’s customer service care is, don’t change it unless you truly find a way to make it better than exceptional!

My assigned rep Ray was amazing. The light I originally wanted was in production and wouldn’t be ready until September, but I needed a nautical type lighting for the kids bunk room design, immediately. He searched Capital Lighting’s vast inventory and found lights that would work perfectly. As a busy interior designer, I don’t always have the time to source new items after they have been selected and presented to the clients months in advance. Getting a replacement quickly that keeps the integrity of the design certainly makes my job easier. Thanks Ray, you are awesome.

I contacted Capitol about a ceiling fan we purchased 4 years ago which developed an annoying hum. This fan has a lifetime warranty by the mfg so I asked if I should contact the mfg? Instead the rep said they would handle it and arranged a replacement which I am waiting for. Now that is follow-up in the manner they handled it. I hope to use them again going forward

The quality and price of the lighting fixtures we purchased was unbeatable. The Sales Rep offered us a great deal for the quantity of light fixtures we purchased for our outdoor patio cover. One unit had a broken globe when it arrived so we reached out to request a replacement globe and Shavon jumped all over it (no questions asked) and has a replacement globe on the way - within 24 hours of our initial request.
