THEY DON'T SHOW UP

Tip - If you want to bypass the god awful robot on the generic line just say 'operator' constantly - Eventually 20min later you get a human. But they do nothing to help anyway.

Same story as others. Mistakenly pre-booked a taxi with this pathetic POS company. Gave 24hrs notice, nothing showed. Eventually phoned, promised a taxi in 5-10min - nothing. Happy to take the money though, luckily refunded eventually. Literally their only job. They'll go bankrupt soon enough.

Criminal Scum

They rip you off, thieves and liars!
Adelaide SA, once again, he didn't turn on the meter, I didn't notice, made up a ridiculous price out of thin air, threatened to take me back if I didn't pay. This is ILLEGAL! This is the 4th time!
You are nothing but criminals, the authorities need to investigate these Adelaide taxis.
They need to be closed down, do NOT use these taxis.
Low life criminal scum.
Thank God for Uber!

Always a terrible experience

Always a terrible experience. This last time , the taxi stank of sweat. The fare is seemingly extortionate. It was miles higher than uber , even with a large surge fare. Unfortunately, I saw the surge and thought the taxi would be cheaper. It wasn't. Lesson learned. I don't trust any of the metering. This has happened before. I vowed never to take a taxi then. Regrettably, I took one. Never again.

Never use this company

I booked a maxi taxi, online, to take a group of friends to dinner. The booking was confirmed and I was given a reference number.
We waited 10 minutes passed the given time and then I tried to contact them to find out where our taxi was. This was a frustrating experience as it was difficult to get onto an actual human!
When I finally spoke to someone, they informed be that, despite the fact that I had a booking confirmation, the company did not service the area!
This made us late for our dinner booking at the other end.
I fail to understand how a "system" can accept a booking, take payment details and then not provide a service.
Very frustrating.

Imagine having booked a taxi with 13…

Imagine having booked a taxi with 13 Cabs (Sunday 9 November) for 11.30am, guests having arrived from Sydney for special birthday celebrations. Written confirmation of the booking and a separate telephone conversation to confirm the booking and then they do not turn up !!! And when phoning them at 11.30am, tell you that they didn't have any taxi's available. No contact, no communications, no apology - the worst service I have ever received - shame on 13 Cabs.

Why people choose UBER

Ordered Maxi Taxi via their robot service which actually went OK! Get message driver about to arrive then nothing for 15mins...finally managed to cancel via their stupid robot service but now kate to catch a boat for a 21st...If cab drivers wanna know why people choose UBER etc this is it. 13 Cabs app deleted and never catch a cab again you bunch of losers!

Terrible prebooking service

I booked a taxi in advance at around 5pm i booked it for 7.11pm over 2hrs later and a cab never showed and the wesite still said it was looking for one 30mins after the scheduled time obviously with ridiculous wait times and service like this i went with a different option but for those of us who might only have cash or who might have a important appointment or something they cant be late for ridiculous if you book a cab ahead of schedule it should be available to pick you up at said time dont offer this service if u cant honor your end or if you dont have cabs available to fufill this service dont offer it as a option because if you book at a certain time hours before then it should arrive at that time otherwise why bother booking ahead its hugely deceiving and terribly inconvenient especially if u have to be somewhere on time because youv wasted my time and made me late all because u cant be consistent in providing the service you offer and i could have made other arrangements if you were just going to not show up

Do NOT recommend. Didn’t show up despite booking the silver service a day before, and receiving a confirmation message. Customer Service didn’t care. Only 1 star because I can’t give it the none it deserves.

Called for a cab to take me to my mechanic

Called for a cab to take me to my mechanic to pick up my car, 30 mins away. The AI that took and booked my call was great and precise. Best thing about this. However after waiting for 20 mins with no cab accepting the booking I realised why Uber has become so popular. This was a waste of time.

1905 on east Derwent highway before the Bowen bridge. My son is a learner driver and a cab driver from this company was behind us and flashing his lights and beeping his horn on a windy stretch of road (and less than 2 kms). So no my son wasn’t doing the 70 km speed limit, but that is no reason to do this. Absolutely appalling and dangerous behaviour from the cab driver. Couldn’t get his licence plate details before he turned off as he was driving that close and flashing his lights.

Always fun having a bigot for a driver

Have had variable experiences with 13cabs

Once had an immaculate car and pleasant driver, but was charged over $50 for a trip

To a driver who was full on racist and misogynistic (to my mother) and the car was filthy as but the trip which was identical to the other cost $31

My mother didn't want to kick up a fuss, so I waited to post this, besides, looking at the other reviews, I suspect 13cabs needs to review their operational policy as regards driver conduct

Amazing ride

I just wanted to commend the driver who picked me up this morning from Tanilba Bay. Then transport to NewCastle Airport was the most courteous proactive person I have ever had the pleasure to be affiliated with.
I can only apologise for not obtaining his cab no. Or name of the driver but the trip was booked ref 226126620.
Hats off to 13cabs honestly I thought service like that was extinct. Anyways I will have second thoughts about using other services…

Lack of treatment

In the last 18mnths I have spent an astronomical amount of money with 13 Cabs due to medical concerns and now all of a sudden my money is no good and the drivers won’t pick me up because the trip is too short. I am so over the lack of respect and shitty treatment.

Absolutely don’t use this service

Absolutely terrible, and I would’ve given them zero stars if I could have. I scheduled a taxi for 5:15 pm and at 5:20. My driver finally contacted me through the app saying that he would be arriving shortly. 15 minutes later, he’s still not here. Five minutes later I can see that he’s arrived on the wrong side of the train station from which he was picking me up and then walked to the other side of the train station even though I had made it very clear in my booking and reservation that I would be on the opposite side and pinned my location he still made the error. Once walking over to the other side, I saw the cab driving away and got a notification saying your ride has been cancelled.

As someone who wanted to rely on these cabs to get me where I need to be on time I was not impressed at all with this terrible customer service and when trying to call their number on the app I was put on hold and nobody would pick up.

I hate this app. I absolutely hated this experience and I will never ever be using their services again. Terrible service.

All well until you need further assistance

Overall very good service. They offer the option of booking online with a fixed price. You can follow the approach of your cab etc. BUT: beware when you need assistance. We booked a cab online to depart from Sydney Airport, as we would have the fixed rate and no queues, but the driver could not find us and did not bother too much. The "call your driver" was connected to a call center. I explained the situation to the voice at the other side of the line, and they connected me to a 'technical operator'. After a long wait, and upon my explanation of the situation, his first question was "why did you book a taxi in the first place?" - I thought he was joking, but he genuinely meant that it was dumb to book and prepay a taxi from the airport, "where there are plenty of taxis available". In the mean time, it appeared that my booking had been canceled by 13 Cabs.
Well, if that is the company's policy, then why do they allow one to pick the airport as a possible place of departure for booking a cab? The attitude of the person I talked to was a disgrace to the company he was supposed to represent.

bloody hopeless, trying to speak to an operator took over 30 minutes and still didn't get one.
I refuse to speak to a voice generated machine.
