We are very concerned by the negative experience you have listed below. We are a small, independent team based in the English countryside, working hard to do things the right way when it comes to our ingredients, our artisan production methods and our business practices.
We have never paid for email addresses and shady business practices like these are not something we have ever or would ever participate in.
As is the way with many businesses these days, we do occasionally partner up with similar brands for marketing activities such as joint special offers or giveaways, but any giveaways obtained through these activities are always strictly obtained with the active consent of the email addressee, as per GDPR regulations.
In addition to this, all of our emails have an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email, as per GDPR regulations. We have just completed a test this morning to ensure our unsubscribe button is working, which was successful.
We have just checked and you are not on our email list, but if you do encounter any emails from us, please do feel free to contact us on customercare@100acres.co.uk where we will be more than happy to assist. As per GDPR regulations, we are always more than happy to remove any email addresses and personal data from our systems immediately upon request.
I do hope we have been able to reassure you that we are an independent British business, doing things the right way. The very reason we started 100 Acres was to create beautiful products with nourishing, beneficial ingredients that are kind to the skin and planet.
