Dreadful, I'm going back to Interactive Investor

I recently started using IG for buying UK / US shares, after trading with ii for many years. I've complained twice now. IG won't execute trades at the Buy price when it doesn't suit them, and if you place a limit order, it expires at the end of the trading day, and may / may not be executed. There is no option to set an expiry date, and you have to manually enter the same order each, and every day. I thought ii were hopeless, but at least they execute your trades, and you can set a limit order expiry date.

Disastrous Platform "Upgrade"

I've been a customer of iii for many years. It was good, but is now dreadful due to a recent "upgrade". The new platform leaves customers with no notifications if a limit order has been executed unless you logon and check. There are restrictions on where you can place buy and sell limit orders, and to make matters worse the app is now virtually useless. I've complained twice, and been advised to leave, so I'm looking for a new broker. iii seem to have made the business decision to become the Fisher Price of brokers. I wish them luck!

My order was missing some parts

My order was missing some parts. I spoke to Kate and Sugra in Head office, both completely useless, just tired to fob me off in any way that could. Called in the afternoon, spoke to Marshall. He had the issue resolved in 10 minutes. 5 stars for Marshall, 0 stars for Kate and Sugra.

The Worst Insurance Company in the UK

They might be cheap, but they are the worst company I've ever dealt with. I was hit from behind, the driver admitted liability, and my claim was left open for 18 months. After endless phone calls and chasing them, they closed it down on the National Insurance database as a fault claim against ME! Having called them to complain, they send you round in circles, and advised me they don't know how to update the insurance database. Don't be fooled by the suspicious looking reviews on here that give initials of the employee who was oh so helpful. I think I can guess who wrote that..........
