They DO NOT have any QUALIFIED resume writers. I looked for review prior to hiring zipob and they were all favorable. That tells me theres a lot of fraud and trickery going on. Ive used 3 resume writing services over the last 10 or so years and his is the worst experience i ever had. If you have had more than 1 job they will not be able to write a professional resume for you. Took them a long time to assign me a writer and the first draft was horrible, tons of spelling errors and horrible grammar almost seems like the writers arent familiar with US English. I was very specific with the format and layout I wanted ,I was provided a resume that looks like word salad, no white space on the page its so busy I didn’t even want to read it. I sent them a sample so they can format the resume to my likening and the second version was just as bad as the first, so i requested to be assigned to another writer. Again it took along time for some to get back to me. My third resume was awful and that point I realized that this is a SCAM. The resume doesn’t highlight or promote any of my successes. This is not a good writing service and they are not qualified. Im a consultant with more than 20 years of experience and I wanted a resume that highlights my leadership skills. They dropped the ball. I paid for a high level package with an executive level writer the person They assigned couldn’t even put together a sentence. I ran the resume through multiple ATS and it scored less than 50, a strong resume scores 80’s or 90’s.
I also paid to have my LinkedIn profile updated. The LinkedIn update is literally a piece of paper with tips and tricks to create a profile but yet I PAID for them to over hall my linked in profile. It was never done.
The resume has yet to get any offers and its been out there for 90 days. My old resume (written by a previous service) however, continues to get me noticed it just doesnt have my managerial experience but its 1000 times better than the resume they provided.

I had an resume constructed in April of last year after working with this company about two years ago. I paid extra for the extra services and was confident that I would get a great in product. Unfortunately, that was not the case I was delivered a résumé that was not well constructed and when I requested a revision I was given an even worse one. I’ve had to reinvest another $300 to get my résumé written. Please make sure you do your due diligence when hiring résumé writing companies because at the end of the day we give them money and the product was not worth $300 and I was given horrible feedback from recruiters and potential hiring managers.

My stars reflect the process and company as a whole. I opted for the package including cover letter, resume and linked in profile. The service is only good for 7 days and then that’s it so make sure you’re constantly sending reviews. My writer literally took my resume and made a few changes. I would have been better off giving my wife $300 and letting her do the same job. I kept expressing my disappointment and how there was nothing to make me stand out.

The net net is don’t use the service, go To monster.com or use a word template for free and build out your resume. Great business idea, HORRIBLE execution.

Zipjob is horrible. The first draft of the resume had spelling errors, incoherent and misleading statements. It is clear the efforts are offshored wherein the "writers" lack the finesse of American English. They are unresponsive with a take your money a run scam.

His service was invaluable and well worth what I spent. I write reports for a living but cannot do a resume lol 😆 I needed the help and he was great at providing his services!

Horrible experience and a complete waste of money. The "perfect resume" they delivered was full of grammatical errors (which they claimed help increase success)m and the design template was straight out of a Word template.

Folks, don't waste your hard-earned money on this service. They are only handing out generic, template derived resumes. I guarantee you will be able to write a better resume by yourself as nobody knows your experience and strengths better than you. I bought this service thinking I could gain an edge, but they handed me total slop. I have ended up revamping my resume myself and customer service only gave me a 30% refund. I've had to email customer support at every turn. They never provided me with any instruction for how to use the resume posting service that I paid another $40 for either. SAVE YOUR MONEY & DON'T USE ZIPJOB. Like you've always heard...if you want want something done right, do it yourself.

I placed an order on Dec 28. After sending my resume I received basically the same resume back with a worse format and they were asking me to provide information (I.E. school and jobs) which were on the resume I provided. This immediately threw up red flags. I then called the company and spoke to them on the phone requesting a refund. I was told I cannot receive a refund without “trying out” another writer, “someone in my field with experience”. This man was the same as the first. He kept changing my resume to say I have an OSH cert? Referring to the OSH act in 1970. Yes for a foreigner who is trying to blend with the USA this might seem right, but I had to tell him I don’t have and OSH certificate, I have an OSHA CERTIFICATE! I then tried to get another refund and now I am stuck paying 300$ for them trying to outsource the work to Mumbai.

DONT USE THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS

I paid for the phone consultation, which was a joke the only thing that came out of that was she asked me to pick a color. The first draft had so many typos in it I thought it was a joke. There were so many different font types and sizes it was super off putting. The second draft came back in a completely different format for no discernible reason. Then I got an email that basically told me they closed my job and congrats because now I had a “workable template” I could adjust as I saw fit. WOW! If I wanted a “workable template” I could have used a free resume generator and saved my money. Don’t look for a refund because you won’t get one even with their “guarantee”.

In the very first draft I got an excellent draft that did not need any redraft or amendments. I was super chuffed that I had a great writer. She understood my thoughts and got all my concerns covered. I am grateful for giving me the confidence needed to navigate my next career journey

I worked with Armand, on my cover letter, resume, thank you note, and linked in profile. He made everything perfect. The resume was not a lie, I could stand by everything that he had mentioned, he made me sound like the real me which I always had trouble with when writing my own resume.
