Just received my reward
A neighbouring property had been stood empty for the last five years, reported and was pleased to receive my £20 Amazon vouchers. Here's to hoping for new neighbours.
Amazing service and an essential…
Amazing service and an essential service to the UK housing crisis. More people should know and use this service.
Saw this company advertise on TV
Saw this company advertise on TV, regularly pass a very rundown property whilst walking my dog. Sent the details to You Spot Property, they were great at responding and sending a gift voucher.
I really hope they manage to acquire this property and develop it into the beautiful family home that it should be
Great initiative to have
Great initiative to have, I’ve been fortunate to of found a few properties whilst out walking my dogs. Love the idea and enjoy searching my town for empty and neglected properties to be brought back into use
I got a reward for reporting a wasted property.
A property very close to me has been empty for some time. It is becoming derelict and an eye-sore. It seems such a waste, so I reported it to 'You Spot Property', after reading a news item about them. They contacted me to say the news item had generated lots of interest, so there may be some delay before they'd be in touch again. After around a month, they emailed me, and I provided further information. I received notice that my report qualified for a reward, earlier this month. Today, I received an M&S voucher for £20. I saw this as an opportunity to stop a house being needlessly ruined, and to give people an opportunity to live in the house. The voucher was a great bonus and perhaps if the 'You Spot' team are successful, everyone will be a winner, including me!
Worth spotting an empty property
This seemly odd idea makes sense when you think about it... asking the public to report empty properties so they can be bought back in to use. And the £20 reward vouchers is genuine too. I reported 2 properties, one met the criteria and I have just received my voucher.
Honest, Genuine and True to their word.
Was a bit sceptical at first whether this was genuine but I had no reason to be. I sent details of a property I spotted and I received an email saying it was one they are interested in and I would receive my £20 Marks and Spencers voucher within a few weeks. Today I received it. Just hope they end up purchasing the property i spotted now to receive 1% of the purchase price. Give them a try, you got nothing to lose!!!
Delivers as promised...
I saw an advert for this company and decided to report a property on my street that had been empty for several years - what a waste! They came back a while later to confirm that it met their requirements and I've just cashed in my £20 voucher!
Happy to have received £20 Amazon voucher as promised
The reward of a £20 voucher is genuine. I spotted a derelict house on my road and after a little wait, the house was verified as meeting the requirements and I was duly sent a £20 Amazon voucher. Hoping of course that a deal is struck to purchase the property when an even bigger reward might come my way.
No complaints with You Spot Property
I'm very happy with my experience with You Spot Property. It's a fun hobby for someone who likes to walk a lot! They are quick to respond, and I just received my first £20 Amazon voucher for spotting a potentially empty property. Hopefully there'll be more to come.
Excellent experience
Excellent experience. Good communication and thank you for the voucher. Looking forward to hopefully hearing the property sells!
Brilliant idea fits in perfectly with…
Brilliant idea fits in perfectly with my line of work. My job takes me to many properties all over the county, sometimes to neglected buildings. I was casually reading Martin Lewis’ website money saving expert.com and bumped into You Spot Property. So, gave it a try, so simple and quick, probably 2 minutes to send photo, address details and some notes. Forgot all about it, came across a few more properties, did the same. Eventually got some rejection emails before getting some Amazon vouchers. Not bad, worth the few minutes as I was passing. Then this week, a phone call and a couple of emails later a couple of thousand quid as they’ve bought one of my spots. Win win win, property gets lived in, nice. To be honest, from
What I’ve seen, there could be a You Spot Mansions as well, no joke. Anyway, no skin off my nose, I’ll keep spotting.
Reported an empty property
Reported an empty property, voucher arrived a few months later. Just a few photos and information needed and you’re done.
Spotted a property on the street next…
Spotted a property on the street next to mine and sent it in. I was politely emailed saying that due to a huge influx of spotted properties it might be a while for them to verify it. I got an email a few weeks later saying the property had been verified and today I received my £20 voucher. Pleasant experience from the beginning and looking forward to hearing whether they have been successful in purchasing the property!
quick and easy - great incentives to spot a property
i have spotted and reported a couple of houses that ive seen while out walking the dog. received £20 amazon vouchers for each of these, which was fab!
i got a call 6 days ago, to inform me that one of my spots had been purchased- and the 1% was paid into my account today- thanks so much
Decided to spot the property next door…
Decided to spot the property next door to me as I was fed up of seeing it empty and starting to look an eyesore.
Saw these advertised on sky news and decided to give it a go.
So easy and once confirmed by themselves it was eligible ... £20 Amazon voucher coming my way.
Hope they buy the house and 1% is for me!.
Quick and simple to report an empty…
Quick and simple to report an empty property. I got an Amazon voucher quite quickly. Fingers crossed for some commission if the sale goes through?!
My experience is positive so far.
We have had a property in our close that after the owners died, their children (who are adult, but behave like children) left the place to go to ruin over a period of more than five years, just to spite each other?
I was thinking of reporting this to the local council, but apparently they are not interested. Then I heard about YSP and got in touch with them. Two months later l received my £20 Amazon Voucher. If the property happens to get sold and my 1% shows up, l shall write another review, but they do appear to be genuine.
A while to wait but worth it for 3 minutes work…
To be honest I heard about this company on the Sky news app via a story they ran. I wasn't holding out much hope of hearing back off the property 8 reported and low and behold I didn't and I forgot all about it. That is until a few weeks later and I now have an Amazon voucher for just sending some details thank took 3 minutes to do. I'm assuming the short delay (in the grand scheme of things) was checking with and contacting the owners.
Great fun and really easy
