The service was amazing, I’m a very new customer to vision express and from start to finish all the staff were helpful, attentive and all round brilliant! Special shoutout to Claudia, every sales team needs staff like Claudia, she was patient, kind and helped me choose the right pair of glasses. Their offers and deals are generous, can’t rate the price as every opticians trip for me is like getting a bank loan but vision express certainly help ease the stress of having to pay so much to see! Can’t wait to receive the glasses I’ve ordered. Thank you Basildon branch you’re amazing!

Came to look for tinted prescription glasses at The Trafford Centre. Was given the information I needed to know to make my purchase and ordered my glasses. Had a routine eye examination at another store and a full eye examination. Staff and Optician were friendly and explained things well.

A very friendly store with a wide range of frames to suit everyone. I had my eye test with David who was thorough and professional throughout. Kreesh as the manager on duty is also approachable and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent customer service. The WiFi isn’t the best but that’s no big deal for the time one spends inside.

Very enthusiastic professional carried out the eye examination and explained everything as he went along and was very encouraging.

I find Vision Express are always outstanding for their service. They see you come in (excuse the pun) and make you feel welcome. They get straight on with their service and they are thorough. New technology is improving the quality eye tests they offer.

I paid £430 for a sunglass with prescription on 27 April. Two weeks later with no updates I visited the store. That’s when they said sorry RayBan can’t make it because of my astigmatism. So they updated me only after I waited and went there. Then I put it on hold to think and went another day and spent 1.5hours to place an order with vision express glass but the lady just could not place the order. Having waited for more than an hour to place the order I left saying please can you let me know upon successful placement of the order. One week passed no communication. Went in, narrated the whole issue and someone said she can confirm an order has been placed. Another week passes and I call up to say what’s the status. They say no status unfortunately and the order was placed on 27 April. At that point I realised I have spent hours to get a sunglass and we are back to square one. So no one really updated all the communications we had. Obviously I said can you please connect to your manager and I was put on hold for 30 minutes, and then someone picked up but instantly got disconnected without speaking a word. Since then I have been trying to reach out and it’s an absolutely shambolic call centre or something which never picks up. So now I have to go back to the store again being a busy professional to figure out what to do with this order after having spent hours behind this. I am not sure how are they running this super inefficient service in 2026 when productivity and AI are key. Really really disappointed.

Very friendly staff who treated me with respect. There was no pressure to purchase their glasses unlike their competitors. Everytime you go to SS you need new lenses which seems a bit strange? My eyesight hasn’t changed for the last three years at vision express. You do the sums!

I went for a regular eye test and the optometrist saw I had a small tear at the back of my retina. She said it was an emergency and should be treated as such. The following morning a phone call by the hospital asked me to go that afternoon for laser surgery.Complete success. Extremely grateful to the the lady at Vision Express. Thankyou
