Utter butch of c"×£s.

Utter butch of c"×£s.
I bought a £20 gift card and added it. It did it added correctly but no robucks showed. I have emailed them 4 times. I've been ignored each time. Zero customer service, and theft of children's money is how they operate. Disgusting.

If you or your kid is planning to play…

If you or your kid is planning to play this game, just say no.
And why? Recent updates is making the experience at roblox worse, if your child wanna chat, you need to put your face or ID in to be able to chat, play some games, which is being sold for alot of money at the market, and there has been multiple face leaks due to the AI detecting your face, there are alot of predators online on this game aswell, this is the worse game you can let your kid play, they will become addicted, start playing brainrot games and become brainrot itself, instead let your kid play minecraft, its much better than this corrupt game, i have played it for 8 years, i had enough.

I used to love Roblox, well i don't anymore.

I used to love Roblox. Like genuinely, it was an easy 5 stars for me. I could play, laugh, and actually TALK to people. It felt fun and normal. Now? It’s a 1 star. No question. I can’t even communicate anymore. Every time I try to say something, it either gets filtered, tagged, or just doesn’t send the way I mean it. It’s so frustrating. Like what’s the point of a multiplayer game if I can’t even talk to people properly? I get that it’s for “safety,” but it just feels way too much. It doesn’t feel fun anymore, it feels controlled. I can’t joke, I can’t have normal conversations, I can’t even be myself half the time. Before, Roblox was somewhere I could connect with people and enjoy my time. Now it just feels quiet, restricted, and honestly kinda lonely. Also, what's the point of changing friends to "Connections" if you can't even connect ?.

Continually bad management

The Roblox algorithm gods just push over monetized slop. They have killed all chatting based games by segmenting the player base. They also don't care about pedophiles on a children's platform.

Don't get into it not worth putting up with the horrible updates and management.

These updates are a mess

These updates are a mess. Yes I get for keeping young children safe but its going too far. Next I have to pay just to make a game public. These updates are going too far, and Roblox doesn't even care because they are making us pay just so they can make their HQ. The age verification is horrible, and I cant even chat to people anymore. Im not buying anything on Roblox till action is taken because this has gone too far. If paying to make games public goes ahead, then im officially off the platform, and im sure millions of other users would do the same. Whats next? I thought Roblox wanted to power imagination not power paywalls. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible experience.

Used to be fun

Used to be fun, now just full of RNG and brainrot games. I'm not even sure what David is doing rn. He's riddling the app with useless updates like "makeup" and the age-verification AI thing. I feel like it has turned so badly compared to when I first started playing in 2017. From letting predators on the platform to banning people who keep predators off the platform, Roblox has it all!

Terrible

As a player since 2017, this platform has gone to crap. Not only do I HAVE to my face nowadays to even just SPEAK - and even then not to much people (which is extremely limiting considering the fact I mostly play multiplayer strategy games), not only do I have to deal with predators that the platform doesn't do much about, but now I have to pay a stupid freaking subscription and send them ID because the oh-so-powerful admins at the top of the company are greedy for small indie dev's hard earned cash. I have based and planned my future career on roblox game development and dreamed about it for 4 years straight and now this. Way to go, David. I will not be using your platform again, despite being my childhood.

Powering Paywalls, Not Imagination

I used to absolutely love this platform, but Roblox is making it nearly impossible for new, creative developers to survive. What used to be a place where any kid with a laptop could build a dream has turned into a corporate cash grab that punishes small creators at every turn. The new "Roblox Plus" requirement is the final straw because requiring an active paid subscription just to publish a game for "All Ages" is completely ridiculous. You are basically telling young developers that if they cannot afford a monthly fee, their work does not deserve an audience.

The greed doesn't stop there. The recent clothing updates are a total slap in the face to designers. Forcing people to maintain high-tier Premium memberships just to keep 2D shirts and pants on sale is predatory, especially when your entire shop gets delisted the second your subscription lapses. Even if you manage to scrape together the money for these fees, the algorithm is so broken that it only pushes massive studios with huge marketing budgets anyway.

Unique, independent games are being buried under a sea of low-effort simulators because the "startup cost" to be seen is now too high for the average person. Roblox has clearly forgotten that they built their empire on the backs of hobbyists and kids. They have fenced off the sandbox and started charging for the shovel. It is heartbreaking to see a platform I grew up with become so hostile toward the very people who made it popular. Unless you have a massive budget, do not bother trying to be a creator here anymore. The "Powering Imagination" era is officially dead.

Roblox is still good for me.

As Roblox have been going downhill, I still enjoyed playing Roblox while it lasted. There is still fun and good games for me to play, and honestly, I'm not bothered by the chat and age update since I don't even talk in chat and I mostly play single player games. I still get that others want to communicate w/ their friends, and etc, but it is what it is since the bad apples had ruined the game and it caused Roblox to add safety for kids. (safety for the little kids i guess) The facial recognition is horrible as you may know and the makeup + other stuff is bad as well. Its a 3 stars because its my own opinion, there is still games that I enjoy playing but it sucks for other games that require chat like possessor.
