Fabulous service - bought a new tv from the Southampton shop and they were brilliant couldn’t fault them at the shop and the tv installation was done by their recommended technician and he was aslo faultless !

Being able to speak with the staff is always a delight, knowing their deep insight and advice on what to get/what not to get. I remember Rob showed me one of the rooms that had some high end streamer and we listening to Nine Inch Nails. The sound was so amazing, it's beyond comprehension! Plus, it is such a cosy place, they should totally sell some coffee which would be delightful while browsing!

Richer sounds came up with a much cheaper solution to my audio problem than I proposed, - they put the customer first. I'm impressed and pleased with them.

Been buying TV`s and sound equipment from Richer Sounds in Southampton for over 25 years now - never go anywhere else. Always great service, prices and above all product knowledge on each of the products.
James was fantastic at sorting out a small issue we had connecting the new TV to a Sonos soundbar via an "optic lead".

I reserved a Denon tuner/cd player, M41-DAB, which was listed as a clearance item. The response from the Southampton store was quick and I was phoned the next morning and told about the condition of the item - looks like new, they said. So I went into the store the next day and sure enough, it looked brand new, so I bought it. Works great in my bedroom with a pair of Missions. Staff as always helpful and friendly, an absolute pleasure spending money at Richer Sounds Southampton.

It is always an excellent experience dealing with this company. I have dealt with them over many years. The engagement with the staff has always been such that I have never found better. Southampton branch is no exception.

I called in as I happened to be near the Southampton store, after considering a sub woofer for some while. Ben was terrifically helpful, not pushy, but after checking my needs and current set-up, recommended the Wiim product. That helped my decision and I purchased following day. The difference in soundscape is outstanding, great value too. Cheers Ben, excellent advice.

I asked for support with what I was looking to buy. I was shown some options. My existing speakers were tested so I was able to re-utilise these. Paul was really helpful.

I live a long way from my nearest store at Southampton so I rang to check whether my choice of amplifier was in stock for audition or collection. Good decision as it wasn't, however Marco did a price beat deal for an online purchase so saved me a long trip.

Knowledgeable and patient customer service. Paul at the Southampton branch arranged for delivery of my excellent new Wharfedale 5.2 speakers with appropriate cables and banana plugs the following day to the Isle of Wight. Very impressed.

Southampton shop (where I purchased) were helpful, cheerful and prepared to listen as well as give advice.
Boscombe shop (where I picked up the purchase) were indifferent and unenthusiastic.

What a great team and great range. Over three visits Tom and Ben excelled in customer service, whilst I tried various headphones, from the comprehensive options. Whilst never trying to influence the decision, they gave some great pointers. One brand was missing from the trial, which I obtained elsewhere and decided was the best option , only to realise 24 hours later the error of my judgement and to return to the store to purchase the clear winner, which was far from the most expensive option. Thanks for all the help.

A helpful person on the phone gave me clear information and guided me to make a sensible choice - when the details and specifications are so complicated for the uninitiated. The tv was safely delivered and is very fine.
