Richer Sounds - Croydon Reviews 

I decided I needed HiFi back in my life. I love music, it has been with me through every event in my life…so far! Anyway, I had lost my way relying on Apple Music and a selection of different speakers and headphones. The problem was I wasn’t listening to my music anymore. I could hear it, but I wasn’t listening! Skipping, looking for god knows what etc. you get the picture.

I decided I needed to get back to analogue and the art of actually listening again. After much research I decided on the Denon RDCM41DAB with a pair of Wharfedale 9 bookshelf speakers as I only have a small room.

Enter Richer Sounds. I spoke to a gentleman called Paul. He not only knew his products but he was incredibly efficient and honest during my purchase. I asked about speaker cable and if the supplied was good enough or whether I would get better sound through more expensive cable. Yes was the answer, but he didn’t try to sell me the most expensive cables available, he sold me what would give me the best possible sound from the equipment I was buying. Perfect.

My setup arrived, as promised, the following day and I was very quickly setup and listening to my music properly once again. With a warmth and clarity I really didn’t expect from a budget unit! It’s perfect for my needs. The DAB tuner is very simple to setup and is an excellent addition. But playing my Cd’s is where I’m truly loving the music again.

The first album to be revisited was Boston -Boston, and I was instantly taken back to all the reasons why music is so important to me.

I haven’t really stopped listening since it arrived.

Company known for its customer service and deservedly so. Super helpful with my inane telephone enquiries. Gave me good advice. Purchased a TV - it was delivered when they said it would be delivered AND within a decent time window, with a call on the day an hour or so before they were due .

Great customer service very quick delivery

Had a technical issue with a cartridge just over the 30 days return period. Popped into the Croydon branch and they couldn't have been more helpful. After contacting the manufacturer and ordering a new cartridge for me, 2 days later I received a call to tell me my item had arrived. This is customer service at it's best. Thanks again to the staff at the Croydon, you deserve a 6 star's for always going the extra mile.

Always good to ring a store and speak to a knowledgeable person - I was redirected to Croydon from my local store in Hull as the store had stock of what I was after, all very easy. Nicely done to both!

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, and offered very reasonable prices, and offers. They will always be my first option when looking for audio and video items, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The customer service I received was superb, every person I dealt with was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Their recommendations were insightful and I knew they weren't trying to just sell me a TV, they wanted me to have the best one for my needs, going out of their way to find me the best deal and the best product.
