Very disappointed

Purchased a Holland Cooper sweater from Norton Barrie, wore it twice, hand washed as per instructions - it developed a black mark on it so washed again and another black mark appeared on sleeve. Contacted NB and returned sweater, was told Holland Cooper looked at it and said I’d washed with other items so they couldn’t help? Returned the sweater to me and told me if I wanted to take it further to go back to Holland Cooper! Very disappointed with the outcome and would not purchase again from Norton Barrie.

Fantastic customer service from this company

I simply cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews about this store. I am a new customer and have recently purchased a ladies Holland Cooper blazer online, sadly, the size I ordered was too small but after a quick call to their store, they arranged for a bigger size to be sent to me. Please ignore any negative feedback as I will not hesitate to use this company again as in my experience their customer service is superb.

Order arrived damaged due to poor packaging

The shirt I ordered came seriously creased at the collar and stretched on the back. Problem is they shipped it in a plastic UPS bag with no protection from the shirt being damaged. This is the second shirt to get damaged in shipping this way. The company aldo doesn’t respond to emails. I will not be purchasing from Notton Barrie again.

Unprofessional/Odd Phone Call

Made online order Saturday afternoon, within minutes had a call from Joe telling me I don’t need the size I’ve ordered and to change it for another size. Told me about how it fits him and his measurements but has no idea what I look like or what build I am. Wish I’d have just paid a little more with a more professional company. Really odd experience and put me off buying from them. Have asked for refund/cancellation notification multiple times and still yet to get any official confirmation.

A shop playing in e commerce in my opinion i wanted a sandbanks coat before xmas a banner said spend this amount for next day free i was well over the amount and chose local locker delivery for convenience but it then said 2-3 days very confusing and unclear i wont use them again ive cancelled and bought locally off the peg for 125 quid cheaper too ill just leave it in the locker and get a refund. In e commerce you have to be better than that bad experience imo.

Absolutely brilliant service competitive prices for quality clothing great communication responding to emails when took longer to deliver than expected due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday Royal Mail back log thanks again will use again without doubt

One of the most frustrating experiences…

One of the most frustrating experiences i'ver ever had with a retailer. I ordered a pair of pants on September 9th. Norton sent me someone else's package. I took the high road and paid out of pocket to send it to the correct customer. It is now November 3rd and I don't have the pants, I don't have a refund, and i'm down an extra $10 for posting the original package to the rightful purchaser. They continue to make hollow promises with no follow up. I will never do business with this retailer again.

Worst Customer Service

I ordered a pair of LMNTS trainers which arrived faulty. I contacted the company straight away and was told to return them. I followed their instructions and sent the trainers back, but since then I’ve had no communication at all — no refund, no replacement, and no response to multiple emails.

This has been going on for months, and it seems they are ignoring customers once they have their money. Very poor customer service and completely unacceptable. I would strongly warn others to think twice before ordering from this company, as you may end up out of pocket with nothing to show for it.

Excellent quality product and great customer service

Excellent quality product - really happy with my purchase. Quick delivery and super fast response to an email query I sent through after order confirmation. I would definitely buy from Norton Barrie again and cannot recommend them enough.

I’ve seen bad reviews on trustpilot but decided the good outweighed the bad after reading everything and I’m glad to say they didn’t disappoint. Got my moose knuckle coat next working day I’m over the moon. And I’ll add- very quick responses to emails

Terrible service, terrible and careless product storage

I bought a Mackage jacket from them last year. Lots of issues, a tear in the inside pocket I didn’t even see until later. Stains. Missing garment bag. Finally, I wrote to Mackage who had it shipped to their Montreal based atelier, stuffed it with more down, repaired it, removed the stains and had it professionally dry cleaned. Norton Barrie took no responsibility for a product sold. Wrote to them when I finally dealt with the issue by reaching out to Mackage. No response. There’s no after sales service and it’s small wonder that UK department stores are shutting down by the dozen. Mackage didn’t even sell me the product directly but their attitude is the relationship-building sales model that many US retailers have kept alive. I would never use Norton Barrie to purchase anything but am going to remain a Mackage customer for life.

Service with a smile and great prices!!!

Bought a moose knuckles coat and a sandbanks gilet from here. Always the best price on the Internet. Went in the shop to pick the coat up and met the owner who was a lovely chatty fella. Can't fault this place definitely my go to shop now keep up the good work guys

Payment issues, like others on here, but 5/5 customer service

Had issues when trying to purchase a Jacket, payment shows as Pending in my balance, but never went through. This resulted in me having to purchase the jacket elsewhere at a higher price.

On the plus side the chat on the site was manned by a real employee and they did their best to try and rectify the issue.

Great customer experience, but be warned you may have your funds stuck for a few days due to a weird and wonderful payment system.

Great response to email, quick delivery

I can’t recommend Norton Barrie enough. I emailed them to confirm that they had a Holland Cooper bag in stock before I ordered it online. I did this because another online store let me pay for the bag, then 2 days later cancelled the order as they said it was out of stock. PayPal then held onto my money which is another story! Blake from Norton Barrie replied quickly and confirmed they had the item in stock, I paid online and it was delivered, beautifully packaged, the very next day. With 15% off too! The bag is gorgeous and my Christmas shopping and stress is now complete! Highly recommend, thank you!
