Poor quality fabric and bad fit
I saw a lot of advertisements on Instagram and I eventually gave in and bought the Asana Bootcut Pant, but I was very disappointed when they arrived. The fabric seemed cheap and the fit was very bad, even though I followed the instructions and measured myself carefully. They were way too long and also too wide on the thighs. Their prices are not low, so I was expecting a much better quality.
It took almost a month from when I sent the package back until I received the refund.
The customer support were friendly and helpful though.

We do want to reassure you that the fabric is not cheap; a lot of development goes into creating materials that feel comfortable, perform well, and hold up over time. Our design team puts a huge amount of thought into every stage, from fabric development to the final design details, to ensure each piece feels, fits, and performs the way it’s intended. That said, we also understand that not every model will work perfectly for everyone, and your experience is completely valid.
Regarding the length: we offer four different inseam lengths, and the best match depends not only on height but also on individual inner‑leg measurements, which can vary a lot from person to person. Asana Relaxed straight trousers disappointing
I previously left a review for the Asana Relaxed Straight Trouser – Regular 30” / M, but I’d like to add more now that I’ve worn them out for the first time.
Originally, I mentioned that the trousers are too long from the seat area up. I’ve measured myself again according to the website’s instructions and came to the same conclusion — I ordered the correct size. The trouser length itself is exactly right, but from the seat area upwards there is simply too much fabric.
I didn’t want to risk paying a return fee and then ordering a smaller size, as suggested, only for that to be wrong as well. At that point, it starts to get expensive just because of incorrect advice. So I decided to keep the trousers and give them another try.
I wore them yesterday on a busy trip around the city and realised that the small front pockets are completely impractical — it feels like a design flaw. The zips are positioned very high up near the waist.
If you’re like me and travelling around carrying bags and shopping, you need somewhere accessible to store small items like a travel card or lip balm. Normally, you’d slip these into a back pocket or an easy-to-reach front pocket, like on jeans. However, these zips are impossible to open with one hand because the material is too stretchy to provide enough resistance. You have to put everything down and use both hands just to open one zip, which makes them impractical. If you leave the zips open, they gape badly.
I don’t really see the point of having zippered pockets in such flimsy fabric — it’s unclear what they’re meant to be used for.
This product is very heavily marketed online, which is what inspired me to buy it, but I won’t risk ordering other sizes or styles after this turned out to be an expensive mistake. They will now become very expensive gardening trousers.
For comparison, I recently bought a pair of brown yoga pants on Amazon with both front and back pockets. They’re made from a similar material, though slightly more sturdy, and they look great on. I’ll be buying them in other colours too — and they were less than half the price of these.

We don’t currently list front‑rise measurements online, so it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly which measurement felt off for you, but your feedback about the fit from the seat upward is genuinely helpful for our product team.
On the returns side, we want to reassure you that exchanging for another size wouldn’t have added any extra cost if you’re in the EU, as exchanges are free. For customers outside the EU, we also offer store‑credit returns with no return fee.
Your thoughts on the pockets are also valuable. Most customers find the zippered pockets functional for small essentials, but we know they won’t suit everyone’s needs or habits, especially when you’re on the go and need quick one‑handed access.

I can’t stop wearing these pants!
I can’t stop wearing these pants! I have the asana slim, relaxed and wide; all in black, brown and navy. All of them make me instantly put together and polished. I love the slims in 28 length because they make daytime outfits cool and effortless just above the ankle. I love the relaxed in 30 length because I can throw them in my travel luggage and know I have pants I can dress up or down that feel like lounge pants that are breathable and I can walk all over town in. The wide in 30 length are my night time chic go-to pants that I can also dress up or down but I find it more fun to dress these up. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone a little longer in the wide but anywho…These all pair really well with high quality ribbed baby crop tees and high quality ribbed high neck cropped tanks and high quality buttery form fitting mock neck long sleeves. I also can wear just about any shoe which sets the tone of the outfit…sneakers, cute metallic flat slides, chunky sandals, boots, heeled sandals or heeled pumps, big buckle Birkenstocks…endless possibilities! I get lots of compliments and questions about where I found these amazing pants. It was really important for me that the material looked and felt high quality but that was flattering and easy to care for. They have held up so nicely by washing per the washing instructions and a little steam action makes any little creases fall right out. I love that I don’t feel desperate to get out of them when I get home due to just wanting to be in comfier clothes.

Beautiful quality
I was a little reluctant to order as I’d seen this Company on Facebook but their reviews were good. I dipped my toe in the water and did a small order of 3 long sleeved t-shirts and one normal t-shirt which are more towards the quiet luxury price in my mind, but I have to say I’m incredibly impressed. The garments smell wonderful when you open the packaging, the fabric is of such wonderful quality and the fit is great for me. I’m a small and they were nicely snug but I’d recommend a size up if you don’t want them to cling to you.
For the higher price you really are getting a quality item. Yes, you can get a lot more for the same cost on the high street but the quality is unquestionable and personally it’s about the quality of the clothing and how it makes me feel…I don’t want cheap throwaway fashion. I’m after beautiful statement pieces that are part of a carefully curated wardrobe, that are as lovely to wear in 5 years as they are now.

They arrived and were so soft/comfortable but still looked smart enough for work, loved them. Unfortunately the zip came off the pocket when I first wore them but I contacted customer services and they sent me a new pair straight away and so far so good in terms of the quality. Highly recommend!

Tailored slim pants, pls get them avslible again
Trough the last couple of years I have ordered several trousers from Ninepine. The delivery has always been fast. I had no trouble when returning once, but it was a bit more difficult than what I have experienced with others.
From Ninepine Its great that one can order trousers with the lenght fitting. The first ones I ordered were Tailored slim pants. They were fantastic. After they were no longer avaliable in my size, I have tried other models, but none of them can compare the quality and comfort of the Tailored slim. The Tailored slim fabric is different and thicker than the other trousers I have bought. The others are thinner and more static and attrackts hair and dust, some dont have pockets, others "zip-pockets". The Tailored slim have open deep front pockets and it's possible to use a belt. I really hope you will get the Tailored slim on again. I also got others to love them and they miss them...

The Tailored Slim has since been discontinued and replaced with our Tailored Ponte Straight Trouser. This updated version has a slightly lighter fabric and some design changes based on broader customer feedback. We know that updates like these won’t be perfect for everyone, especially when a beloved style had very specific features that worked so well for you.

The trousers (I now have 9 pairs) are incredibly comfortable. The fabric is of great quality and fits beautifully. And even after many washes, they still retain their shape and the color is beautiful! They are shipped to you carefully and well-packaged. In short, a young and dynamic top company that now also has a store in Amsterdam, which you can simply visit in person.

I have bought two pairs of nine pine asana pants. Found the quality absolutely perfect as long as you read the reviews on the sizing you will have no problems . I find the small a good size 12 in the U.K.
