If this is a solicitors that has been allocated to you for an injury claim CHANGE NOW.
After complaining to management about my case handler things got worse….missing paperwork, not returning calls for at least five working days, being told they hadn’t received paperwork then to told about a week later they hadn’t and didn’t know why they told me they hadn’t, in other words they lied to me.
They will not listen to you or your concerns, they will use Mickey Mouse “specialists” for reports.
When they received the offer from the other parties on my claim they didn’t even bother to tell me, also didn’t even bother to tell me that the other side had made payment to settle the claim.
Do not use and if you already have the misfortune to be using them write everything down and take notes like I have and push to finalise your claim as soon as possible.

Over the course of the claim (3 years), I have always managed to speak to LD solicitors promptly when required. Initially I dealt with James Chapman, and in the past year the case was passed to Andy Vraitch. Andy was most helpful and managed to provide me with the necessary information and advice to enable myself and my wife to attend Court and ultimately be successful in presenting our case.

Having had a road traffic accident, my insurance company put me in touch with Lyons Davidson and Andy Vraitch was appointed to my case. Andy exceeded all expectations, the case was tiresome and frustrating as the other side were slow to respond with endless delays, but Andy always kept me well informed regularly as to how the case was developing and replied quickly to my frequent emails. I previously had a successful claim with Lyon’s Davidson and through this whole process the communication was below par. Since then my partner who was a passenger in the car crash was trying to make a claim. They were numerous errors with his account, not allowing him to complete a claim form so we took this elsewhere as Lyon’s Davidson were useless in resolving this. I have since requested relevant information from my claim to allow me to obtain all relevant evidence etc and contacted Lyon’s Davison over a month ago for this. I was told this was passed over to the management team and I would hear back in 5 days. I am still waiting for this information and have had no communication from Lyon’s Davidson at all. It is completely unacceptable.

Abbie Ford has been not just great throughout my claim but went over and beyond to get my claim settled with Westmorland & Furness Council, who have been deliberately awkward.

Abbie has kept in touch throughout the claim, has chased the other sides solicitors.
she has been so pleasant throughout the process.
