The whole transaction went smoothly and the cards arrived within a couple of days. I had looked on Amazon and for the same cards they said between 1 and 3 months!

Disgruntled customer, fobbed off over the phone!
Having bought a used Canon lens online from London Camera Exchange Lincoln branch I was initially happy with my purchase. After a year I had used the lens outside on only 2 occasions in the dry. When I decided to part-exchange the lens with WEX Photographic they informed me that there was mould spots inside. I had kept the lens in a lens pouch with a bag of silica gel desiccant inside. I also own another 9 lenses with no mould problems. Having telephoned the Lincoln branch (5th June 2026) I was informed that this is something that can happen on occasion and was told that I had stored the lens incorrectly. I have been a keen photographer for 37 years and was even freelance for a while. I have purchased many, many lenses. It would seem to me that they’re not checking the lenses correctly, or at least not to the same standard as WEX do. This has undermined my confidence in London Camera Exchange and now I’m £185 down effectively. Had I checked this before the secondhand warranty expired I would definitely be returning the lens. Instead I’m now a very disgruntled customer indeed.

I was lucky to win the Pets category of…
I was lucky to win the Pets category of the LCE Photographer of the Year competition 2026 and was incredibly grateful to win a voucher to spend with them. I had to call to be able to use it online, but when I did they sorted it all out and got my lovely new Canon Prograf Pro-310 and set of inks out to me super fast.
