I am writting again this review - considering you just recieve a post here to show that you reply but you never actually reply to emails or call to resolve the issue. It has been since January with no response and the parquet bought is of the poorest quality i have ever encountered. It has holes, it is cracking and I don't even have furnitures yet at home. This is such an awful experience and the account manager totally ignores all the emails. I bought the parquet in Zuid, Amsterdam.

What do you expect me to do with this parquet which I purchased for 100euro per sqm? Please come with solutions - this is a new apartment and rather unpleasant experience to deal with this and Lab 21. You really take no accountability and so far have shown zero integrity.
Do you need people to look for lawyers to take this serious??

We went through hell and back!
Op het eerste oog lijkt het een geoliede machine. Maar gedurende het proces komt de inbekwaamheid aan het licht. De communicatie is slecht, de expertise is slecht en de klantvriendelijkheid is om te janken. Ik geef eigenlijk nooit reviews, maar ik wil mensen echt waarschuwen voor dit bedrijf. Ga ajb elders zoeken.

The warehouse personnel were prompt, very supportive and knowledgable. The pickup was smooth and efficient.

I ordered a top class laminate floor from the store in Oostzaan in June and I absolutely loved everything about it - the colour, genuine wood finish, durability, water resistance etc. So no issue with the product quality, however had less enjoyable interaction with the client service, which spoiled me the customer experience really.
First, I was looking to order full installation service, but was chasing guys for three weeks to come take measurements, albeit I clearly mentioned that I was on a tight schedule for the job as I was due to move within a month’s time from a rented property. Fortunately, the builder who was doing renovation in my flat was qualified to do the floor laying so after multiple chasers to the store guys I gave up and cancelled the service. Thanks to the sales manager Danny in Oostzaan who did a good job calculating the quantity of floor tiles with extra headroom which really saved the day, otherwise it would have not been enough. So much for the measuring service …
But more ordeal was to come with the delivery - a few days before the delivery, I was told that the delivery man will not be taking the floor into the apartment, but was going to drop it off at the entrance to the building - mind the total weight of the order was nearly 1 tonne, my apartment is on 11th floor, with an elevator, so clearly I was shocked to hear last minute that the delivery service I had paid for didn’t include taking the floor to my apartment! As a result, I had no choice but agree to pay another 500 EUR (!) so that it was properly delivered… to my amazement they only sent just one guy, poor lad who had to take all the 60 boxes of 15 kg upstairs, which took instead of 1,5 hours more than 3 and cost me also an extra day of holiday allowance as I had to take a day off work in the end to stay with the guy.
As if 500 EUR wasn’t enough to hire at least two guys who could have managed it quicker without breaking their back…
So yeah, think twice to order from LAB21 - their products are generally great quality, but be prepared that the customer experience may not be as satisfying.

I would like to especially thank to Michiel Westera (from Lab21 BV) and will make recommendations of Lab21 to my friends and families. Few reasons:

1. The installation team arranged by him is excellent in terms of both work and communication though I don’t speak Dutch at all.
2. The updated offer after measurements shows extra 50% cost than original offer two weeks before installation. It’s urgent and I was not able to get explanations. Michel stepped in and helped clarify. As result, floor installation was not delayed at all.
3. Sales team could have made much more accurate calculations when looking at house drawing, so I will know much better about the actual cost. When mismatch happened, they were not helpful at all. That’s why I only gave 4 stars.
