The Truth is Revealing

I approached Jenna based on her interest in truth and spirituality. We had several email correspondences, where I shared a book by Paramhansa Yogananda, a self-realized yogi who had experiences in cosmic consciousness and spread the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jenna replied that she couldn't tell what my background was, and then she told me that I needed to repent for my sins. She is not informed on the broader context of the teachings of Jesus Christ, meditation, etc. and is not open-minded to discuss "truth," which gives the tones of hypocrisy and spiritual egotism while trying to "proclaim the teachings of Jesus Christ" to feel better about her own spiritual development journey. She is far from a self-realized individual, which shows a lack of discernment in trying to preach to others before she has cultivated her own spirituality. For example, she shared an experience about her dreams transforming after reading the Bible, which is great, but quite limited in the realm of spiritual experiences and a truthful indication of her limited level of cultivation with spiritual practices. The truth is that there are cultivated individuals, yogis, spiritual masters, and realized beings that can transmit actual spiritual experiences of truth instead of blogging and telling people that they are sinners. Disappointing.
