Fluke LVD2 and customer support terrible quality

Used only a handful of times a Fluke LVD2 non contact voltage tester. This stopped working within warranty. Upon checking the battery for the first time a spring in the end cap fell out. Clearly not fit for purpose. Customer support was extremely poor although customer service agreed to deal with issue after explaining situation. Had to chase agent from customer service who then refused to replace despite what they he had agreed. Terrible customer service. They don’t return calls either despite promises to do so.
Every year we have purchased fluke equipment from electrical, automotive and thermal cameras being some of the items purchased and was in the process of renewing and upgrading thermal cameras. Decided to go with FLIR at a cost of £7800 per camera and already found service to be much better. No longer will Laser Engineering support companies who offer such a poor service.

Why do I have to give a one star they don't deserve that my t-130 was on recall they said I would have a new one in 10 days back but 4 months later I've still not had one back and they never answer the emails. If you have a recall item don't waste your time sending it in because that will be the last you will see of it. Your better suing them if you get a shock off it. I'm now taking it to small claims court

Poor experience from Fluke…

Rang Fluke for a copy of some firmware which they have given me before but because no longer a current model we’re not remotely interested. Very disappointing from Fluke who were always a gold standard company.

Fluke DAQ 6.0 Software

We were in the middle of replacing a PC with the Fluke DAQ 6.0 software and we were having issues. So, IT reached out to Fluke customer support and Krista was of no use and never mentioned that they were going to stop supporting the software. We resolved the issue and reached out and Krista's response was sorry we no longer support the Fluke DAQ 6.0 software!

Had an old 115 multimeter that started to show 1.5x the actual voltage on the DCV range. Service department doesn't give any pointers on how to go about trying to repair or calibrate it, but it does offer to swap the unit for a new one for much more than market price. Another time I bought a new 8846 and the rubber back cover was from another unit and doesn't fit. They just dropped the complaint. Fluke doesn't seem actually stand behind their products and definitely not their users. Not buying Fluke ever again. Bought a Brymen.

Poor Management and super competitive…

Poor Management and super competitive and sick environment .
I was invited to go there to work from my native country . The manager made to me a so poor interview and she asked me to go to work there , spending money and time and after 3 weeks she fired me without reason (she sayed that my English was not so good for them standard ; It 's more than 10 years that I worked all around Europe without problems , first time I heard something like that , and one of my colleague in the same role she even didn't know how to write the verb "to choose" in English and she was working there from more than 5 years :D ) . I spent the first week without doing anything , the first day of job they asked me to arrange the Christmas decoration and the second day to took off the dishes from the washing machine and I supposed to work there as an Import Export Manager !!! After the first week finally my training start and I was juxtapose to a girl ( I will nickname "The Monster :D ) that supposed to explain me the workflow . The Monster was really stressed and overloeded of job ( LIke all the other in the office because of the poor management ) . Between a phone call and another she tried to explain me the things in a super negative and confused mood and most of the time instead of explain the workflow she was acting like a wedding agency ( any man was coming inside the office she was explained to me how much is his wage , how big is his house and if he was single or not ) and she really liked to talk as well about her personal problems with the kids and the husband . She was afraid since the first day that I was going to call sick leave as most of the colleagues that were there before me ( Who knows why ?!?!? ) . I really hope that this people can understand that this is not fear and they are playing with the life of other people like me that decided to moove from another country to there because of this job ( giving up with other project!) and soon this little sad theater will stop .

I gave 1 star because I can not give 0.

I gave 1 star because I can not give 0.
we were purchasing a Fluke multimeter (Fluke87) back in the years and we told that it would have had lifetime warranty.
in 2006 we sending it to the company ARO for the calibration requested for ISO certification, and we received it back not working.
at the time I was VERY upset but as I was working all day, I was putting it on the side, was removing it from the instrument used in the tech service and used some Chinese units.
now, I am close to quit the company, I was finding the multimeter that is still not working, I called Fluke and they told me to call Aro, I called Aro, and they said that in 2006 was exiting from the company calibrated, I asked about the lifetime warranty, and they said that is no longer valid.
now,
Aro is bad.
Fluke is not serious,
people shall be aware that a chines product is better.

I have purchased software for PAT tester six months ago. My computer malfunctioned and motherboard had to be replaced. the licence would not work. I asked my IT technician deal with it, but he has expressed his frustration that the FLUKE service team dealing with him where very slow to respond and was not intelligent enough to help.

are they trying to frustrate the customers to breaking point... WHY?

Sent my multimeter in due to a recall

Sent my multimeter in due to a recall, which was received on 5 Aug 24 and should have been returned within 7 days. I've had ZERO communication from Fluke about it, despite 2 emails and filling in their "contact us" form. This is very unprofessional behaviour from a, so called, industry leader. Never buying from them again.

Terrible service dept

Terrible service dept.

Sent a fairly new(just over 2 years old) Thermal Imaging Camera in, as working fine - but not from the battery.

Told to send everything in, and they'd make sure all was working fine(even though I knew battery was as I had 2 of these machines). I never mentioned warranty.

They get it in, and tell me they don't repair only replace - and replacement was basically the price I could buy a new one elsewhere from.

I asked them to send it back, and they demanded £40 handling, £20 postage + VAT.

I never would have sent it in if I'd known the poor service I'd get.

Just bought Fluke TL76 silicone test leads to replace the set that came with my Fluke 117 meter. The quality looks cheap compared to the original leads and I don’t think they will last long. Fluke seems to moving away from its quality image which is real shame

Fluke CIQ-100 replacement part

I have a Fluke CIQ-100 network cable qualification tester from about 5 years old. Recently i had a leaking battery which caused problems with the "battery door". I called fluke for a replacement part and they had an used one lying around which they offered to send me for free. I am very happy with the CIQ-100, but even happier with the fluke support!

I've purchased a 800£ Voltage measuring tool since there was a promotion to receive a Fluke device.
It has been more than 3 months and no sign of the promotional item.
I always have to chase them to get some status, no interest in being pro-active and offering a concrete solution. Still no sign of the item as per today.
I wouldn't have purchased the voltage meter if I knew this would happen.

Poor service department

Again, this review is about the service department in the UK.
Fluke products are the standard for use in industry, Great reputation for accurate repeatable measurements.

However, all is good until you need a repair or spare part. The staff on the service desk don't seem to know what they are doing. It is just hard work to deal with them, and I feel dread when I have to try to get in contact to arrange something.
Please Fluke, retrain the staff, put additional staff in place, just do something to get them more organised.

Fluke instrument recall

Fluke instruments used to be the Gold standard when it came to quality and customer service in the electronics industry. As a domestic user I cannot justify the price of some of their high end test equipment, but I do have a couple of their cheaper offerings. I bought a socket tester (SM100) a couple of years ago after putting some sockets in my new shed and it worked fine. I later saw on the internet a report that this unit had been recalled by Fluke for safety concerns as it was possible to get an electric shock off it in some circumstances. Apparently Fluke were asking for them all to be recalled and were exchanging them for another tester free of charge. After contacting them about 6 times and returning my unit I have never received an exchange component, they have just ignored all my e-mails and letters, so I have given up and bought a replacement from a reputable company (Martindale) and their tester works brilliantly and I dont need to worry about getting 240v up my arm, which at 66yrs old could be fatal. I hate to feel ripped off by manufacturers, I don't mind paying extra for quality products, but I think customer service should be key. Fluke used to be the best of the best. The important word here is USED to be. Buyer beware ! UPDATE: Several months later, and without any contact or enclosed paperwork, low & behold the postie delivered my replacement unit. 1 star added for that but not a good experience overall.

Fluke Electrical test equipment Customer Service Department

Most people never need a high end electrical tester. Fluke instruments have been generally regarded as the industry gold standard for testing equipment for many years, based on their quality build and calibration, and customer service. I would not normally spend the money on Fluke as I am not a professional electrician, and cannot justify spending thousands of pounds on a multimeter that I would never need or understand. However I did see both an impulse voltage detector and a socket tester made by them, at a more reasonable cost. as I was in need of both of these, I thought it reasonable to spend the extra and get Fluke as opposed to the cheaper opposition, based on their reputation and industry respect. After a few months I stumbled across a you tube video by an electrician, saying that Fluke had issued a recall on the SM100/200/300 socket testers due to a possible shock hazard, and that they were offering a T90 tester as a replacement. I went to their site and filled out the appropriate form to return my instrument. Weeks passed, so I revisited the site, and filled out another form and tried again. --Nothing. I contacted the sales department of the main Fluke agent and their manager sent an E mail to Fluke Service asking them to deal with my case, on which he copied me in. ----Still Nothing. I tried phoning them 4 times, couldn't get through. I E Mailed them, got a reply back saying they would deal with it.--- Nothing, weeks and weeks past. I tried again, got a contact in the Customer service team who asked me to return the item for replacement. Which I did, at my expense (Although in fairness they did offer to collect). More weeks have passed still .....Nothing. I am absolutely disgusted with fluke and their customer service. They produce and retail a product which is potentially dangerous, then show no regard for the end users safety. They used to be the industry leader, personally I wouldn't touch Fluke with a 10ft barge pole. unless you want to be ripped off.
