Drivevision Dash Cam Reviews 

Spotted the DriveVision camera advertised on FB. Since I was rear ended by a P plater I have been looking at Dashcams with a rear camera. All the major brands are very expensive so when I read more into DriveVision both cameras were reasonably priced with 4k and 2k quality. The app is good with direct connection to the camera so no cloud service required ($$$). Had no problem with DIY installation of both cameras in my BYD and opted for the 12v power so parking mode is not activated. Too many electronic for me. The only different thing I did was buy a High Endurance 128gb SD card because these are designed for the high temperatures in the car. Quality is fantastic as well as downloading the videos are very easy. Loved dealing with an Australian company and delivery only took 2 days. You don't need to spend a lot of money to have a Dashcam in your car.

Great price, everything needed was included. Once installed it worked first time. Link to phone was easy to set up and use.

From my personal experience I've had with this camera over last 6 months. I have had faults ever since bought it.
Had installer come back multiple times to fix it. Got it working ... then every 30 days or so, sd card filled up and powered off. Only way to fix it was put sd card into a PC and format it as in that state camera wouldn't power on.

Sent it back to Drive Vision to assess it. Find out rear camera is faulty. Send me a replacement.

3 days later ... driving home and it constantly powers off. Look at sd card and in 3 days it has filled up and in those 3 days that was less than 3 hours driving time. I have parking turn off after 12 hours.

But yet ... 3 days its full. When they advised me via email 64GB sd card should last for much longer.

I've had multiple cameras on previous cars, never ONCE touched them in years owning them.

This is not a reliable device in my opinion.

Well constructed dash cam that's easy to install with appropriate fitment & connection options. High quality video recordings & easy to download. Rear cam is also good however, an UP indication on the barrel is suggested to ensure correct fitting. (Perhaps a firmware upgrade that enables image flip is also an option here.) An option to lock / protect videos - other than download - is a suggestion.

I ordered a Drivevision 4k express delivery as I wanted to have the dashcam up and running before I left to go on holiday. The unit arrived really quickly which was good because I needed help getting it going. The unit itself was easy to install and setting up the app easy as well. Being an older Austn I had some difficulty with connectivity. I received a great deal of quick support to resolve the problem. We drove for 7000 km and during that time the dashcam never missed a beat. I had no trouble with downloading, erasing and resetting . Fortunately, we did not have an accident and did not have to use the dashcam video recordings. I was very happy with the peace of mind having the camera running as we travelled. In my opinion the Drivevision dashcam was money well spent.

So happy to have purchase this unit for my vehicle. I'd been trying to choose which dashcam to go with for the last few months and finally purchased this unit and couldn't be happier.

Delivery was so quick and such an easy install by my auto electrician. Very impressed at how easy it was to install and setup. I purchased the extra cable for the rear camera install which I would definitely recommend if you have a larger wagon style vehicle like a prado/landcruiser.

So far this has been a great unit, very impressed, not bulky at all and love how you can just set and forget.

Very affordable and such a great deal with the extra extended warranty also. I recommend you go and get yourself one, you won't be disappointed!

Relatively fast delivery. I have had 2 other cameras and this was the easiest by far to set up. I had an issue and this was handled well. Image quality is very good and deleting unwanted videos is very easy. Also it is an Australian company.

Very Happy with my Drivevision 4k front and rear Camera.I love that I can purchase from an Australian company and at a very competitive price compared to the mainstream brands.Also having a 170 degree from camera is a wider lens compared to many other dashcams.

Very nice Dashcam, excellent quality vision, simple to operate from unit or App, great value, highly recommended, I had mine hard wired by an auto electrician to ensure long term faultless usage, thankyou.

I purchased this camera to replace a much more expensive one that had failed after 5 years. The drivevision kit provided has everything needed to install the camera. Install was easy for anyone with even basic handyman skills. Video quality is good. Better than the camera it replaced. Only had the new camera for 2 weeks so can't comment on long term reliability. Australian summer is tough on electrics.
The free version of Viidure mobile app is good enough to view video and control the camera. Haven't tried the paid version yet, it has some interesting features. It's a shame there is no PC software available.

Installation of all components was done professionally by a local service provider and the two units work very well. I would recommend both the products and the company.

I bought front and rear cameras from this great local Oz company. The cameras were a simple install, easy to connect to by app, reasonably priced and brilliant recording, both when car is driven and parked. Zero problems at all for the 10 months they have been installed. The company even replaced the camera screen connector for free when my front windscreen was replaced due to a chip. I cannot fault these guys, the product they supply and the service they provide - top marks
