Went to Herstmonceux Castle. Excellent trip! Coach arrived on time. Clean and comfortable. Driver, Phil, very pleasant - made the journey a good, fun experience. Took a lovely route through scenic Kent and East Sussex to get there and a faster route on motorways to get home so we enjoyed a great scenic tour. The place was well worth the visit with an excellent guide for the castle and beautiful gardens to explore. Timing perfect - we'd plenty of time, but not too much.

From the moment we contacted Rich the private hire manager and his team about our UK paper band Sittingbourne tour up north to Rochdale we found nothing but helpfulness and professionalism. No question was too small and everything was very efficient . Phil our coach driver was very friendly and happy to help where he could . Would not hesitate in booking With them again in the future .

A great day out to the Alexandra Palace for the Stitching show all made possible with Chalkwell Coaches. Our driver Jess was lovely very friendly and he made us all feel very welcome and comfortable throughout the whole journey. He drove with care and precision. Spoke to all his travellers as though he knew us.
The coach itself on the left hand side was very drafty from the emergency door. It was blowing a gale and we had to move to a better seat but could still feel the coldness. You can actually see daylight through a gap so please get that looked at.

The coach was more luxurious than anticipated. The driver was helpful on and off the coach with people with mobility issues and patient when one of our party turned up late.
We travelled to and from the venue in good time and he helpfully parked directly outside the theatre, as the car park was too far away, for some of our party with mobility issues.

A great day out at Jimmys farm the coach very nearly had to make an emergency stop which the driver Gary handled very well recommend this daytrip and chalkwell to everyone.

Had a lovely time the driver was very friendly and helpful we had lots of time to look around be for we had too get back too the bus would go again it was a great day out Thank you

I recently went on a coach trip to Brighton and wanted to give a big shoutout to Garry, our driver. Despite the challenge of last-minute bookings and split seating arrangements, Garry handled everything with such professionalism and care. He made sure every passenger was seated comfortably and did his best to accommodate everyone’s needs.

His calm and friendly demeanor set the tone for a relaxed journey, and his attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. It’s not easy managing a full coach with scattered bookings, but Garry made it look effortless. Thanks to him, what could’ve been a stressful start turned into a smooth and enjoyable ride.

Highly recommend traveling with this company—and if you get Garry as your driver, you’re in excellent hands!

Hired a 16 seater bus for a group tour for the day. The bus was waiting for us at the pick up point and was modern, comfy and clean. The driver had researched the various drop off points during the day so no worries there and was happy to accommodate where parking was tricky. Overall an excellent experience.

Southend day trip, as usual, our nice friendly driver grant got us all there safely, had a great day, I only use Chalkwell, as you know your going to have a friendly service aswell as a safe one, prices are good too . 😁👌
