We bought our car from Angus MacKinnon in Uttoxeter on 11.09.2026, and from start to finish, the whole experience was absolutely fantastic.

Matt was genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve dealt with when buying a car. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, professional and, most importantly, he actually cared about helping us. We were in a position where we needed the car as quickly as possible, and Matt went above and beyond to help speed the transaction through for us. He understood our situation and did everything he could to make sure we weren’t left waiting unnecessarily.
We never felt rushed, pressured or like just another sale!

Matt kept us informed throughout and made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free.
And the car itself… WOW! 😍 It genuinely looked brand new when we collected it. We couldn’t have been happier with it!

We honestly cannot thank Matt enough for all his help, kindness and professionalism. He is a real credit to Angus MacKinnon and deserves recognition for the way he looks after his customers.

Following recent no fault accident the claims company I used placed my car with Angus MacKinnon for repair. The whole experience from the collection, repair, to the return of the car to my home was excellent. Special thanks to the driver who collected and returned my car also to Sammi who dealt with my repair

Bought my new Hyundai Kona Electric through part exchange at Angus Mackinnon. Competitive prices, friendly non pushy sales and excellent customer service. Thank you to Matt and team for all your help. Would definitely purchase again through this dealership!

Son had a minor bump,decided not to go through the insurance so third party got several qoutes ranging from £350 to £624
However when taken to this garage was quoted nearly £3k, make your own mind up about this but the figures dont seem to match up

Disappointing and frustrating. I’ve been a customer for twenty years but the service has deteriorated to the point I won’t use them in future. No sense of urgency. A dashboard light signalled a fault so I booked my car, a Peugeot 208, in for the following week when they had capacity. On the Wednesday they diagnosed it needed a lambda sensor at a cost of £394. On Thursday the part arrived. They didn’t fit on Thursday. On Friday they fitted it but there was still an error so they had to request further advice from an external agency. On Saturday the external agency replied saying more tests were needed. They didn’t carry out the tests on Saturday. On Monday they carried out the tests and concluded there was no problem with the sensor, instead it needed a new catalytic converter. £719. The part was ordered. Tuesday (today) the part arrived. They plan doing nothing on Wednesday but will fit it on Thursday. Over a week to resolve and no courtesy car. They don’t have the in-house expertise to diagnose it themselves leading to delays. There is a lot of dead time when they do nothing to the car. And the price is not competitive. Next time I’m going somewhere that offers a courtesy car if it’s going to take more than a day to fix and somewhere where they have better access to expertise and parts. Maybe the second hand dealership is their priority now but I have found my recent experience of the garage very disappointing.

Superb service from Andy yesterday as I part exchanged against a used Peugeot 2008. Very friendly and a relaxing experience. No pressure. A pleasure from the first phone call earlier in the week to final drive away. Cannot fault Andy or the company. Would not hesitate to use again and thoroughly recommend. Andy, Thank you again, Alan

I took my Mercedes Vito in for exhaust repair as a section of it, in front of the Diesel Particle Filter, needed to be taped at the last MoT (carried out by another garage). Chris was really helpful in ringing me back to explain that the full DPF would need to be changed, but that they couldn't currently source the part from Mercedes (its OEM supplied apparently). He gave me a price and part number for the part if it did become available and suggested an exhaust specialist in Stoke who may be able to repair it. So a very good experience, albeit Angus MacKinnon's weren't able to help me this time around. Its created real confidence that they have good customer focus.

I recently part exchanged my car, and dealt with Andy. He looked after me, and put me at eased, dealing with the exchange and sale of my new vehicle.

Went down to get a quote for a scruff mark on the back of my car,one of the gentlemen behind the service desk ,came out said he's got a polishing tool ,to get it out,hey presto ,it was gone,thank u very much for ur generosity ,

I want to share a fantastic experience had with Angus Mackinnon Bodyshop and their MOT test centre. Their staff at both are amazing. I've been taking my car for it's mot for a few years now. My car was hit by a driver, not my fault. I took my car to Jim at the mot centre to check it's roadworthyness, he was brilliant and sent me down to see the manager Andrew McAulay at the bodyshop. Who has been so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I remember him saying, "that's what we are here for to help" from prompt estimates and advice to sorting my car within 2 weeks has been better than I could have imagined, all thanks to their expertise. The price was very reasonable. All the staff seem very happy and a credit to the team they've built. Keep up the good work, I can not fault anything and would highly recommend 👌

Angus MacKinnon are absolutely outstanding. They collected my car dropped me a courtesy car at the same time. Kept in touch all the way through. The bodywork repairs were second to none. This is the best car sales company I have ever dealt with, they are up there with the best, bought our Qashqai, Matt went through everything and when the car was delivered we were thrilled. We had a little unforeseen issue with the car, which was no fault of the company, this was dealt with swiftly by Matt and the service team, the after sales is second to non , I have complete confidence in highly recommend if you looking for a new or used car, try these guys first

Great service from these guys in Uttoxeter today. Smooth and easy drop off and collection. They kept me updated on progress and even sent a video of the inspection of the car. Will definitely be using them again.

I had pre booked an MOT in Cheadle for 14:30, arrived 10 minutes early and waited, Just before 14:30 the technician comes over smirking and tells me I am too early, I showed him the E mail confirmation and was told "not my fault I work on the hour, go for drive and come back at 3" Well i went for the drive but it was not a return journey

I have been to other so called Land Rover specialists but Angus Mackinnon are by far the best thank you for sorting out the issue that no body else could Jake in the service department was fantastic so was Tina for her professionalism i can not fault this company will be using them from now on.

I had booked my discovery to come in for a service and mot. Booked a courtesy car as I needed to get to work and I live 45 minute drive away. Got there at 9am to be told the courtesy car wasn't back yet. Offered to drop me off at work which is 30 minute drive away. I figured this would be OK as they would drop my car off afterwards and the courtesy car would just be sat at work all day anyway. They then assigned a valeter to drop us off IN MY OWN CAR!!!!
So I had left early to travel the 45 minute drive to Angus mackinnon to pick up a valeter to drive me to work and drive my car back again the other 30 minute drive to then have it returned to me on another 30 minute drive!!!!! I decided this was not to be so dropped the valeter back and told them I'd not bother with the service. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the service guy jake at least made an effort to discuss the issue with me. But this was a huge pain in my life for 24 hours whilst I found a local garage to service and mot my car.

Had a massive problem with my automatic SEAT Ibiza which meant it had to go off to a gearbox specialist. I already had it booked in for an aircon service and regas. Six-star service from Angus MacKinnon - Chris went above and beyond to help my partner and me stay mobile. The car is running well now, and they even fitted in the aircon work the day it came back from the gearbox specialist. Really grateful for my help.

Excellent body shop capability. Just repaired my MSRT van and made a superb job, the colour match is excellent. Great communication, nice company to deal with, refreshing tbh.
