Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing. Good communication throughout. Pick up on time even with short notice given. Boxes were all wrapped and everything arrived intact, no breakages. Very happy with the experience. Thank you to Dave and the all team.

Great experience with this moving company, great price and service

I recently moved to Spain and contacted Dave to get a quote for the job. From the first email and phone call, I knew they were the right company for the job. Very responsive, helpful and reassuring. They talked me through the customs process and arranged everything promptly. They took the stress away and Trevor was also lovely and super efficient on the day of the move. I am really happy I found these guys, I don’t know what I would have be done without them! Everything arrived in Spain in perfect condition, all perfectly placed on pallets and the price was very competitive. I recommend this company to everyone for sure.

Two pallets moved from London to Mijas, Spain

Dave and his team were helpful each step. None of my items were broken including a large curved tv ( which is very important you pack it very safely yourself!!! ). The value for money and quick service was outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to move.

Wheeler logistics

Wheelers moved my goods to Madrid,and did all the relevant customs procedure . My goods arrived safely and the service from start to finish was very good and we were kept fully updated. I would recommend wheeler logistics and I would certainly use them again

Amended: Stay away from these CROOKS

Amending this review to include the disgraceful replies I have received after posting this (see updates at the bottom):

Having seen the other negatives reviews here, I decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt. This was a mistake that I sincerely regret and hope you don’t experience.

First of all, completely ignore whatever timeline they give you. They initially told me I would get my things within a week. A MONTH later, my things were still not there. Sure, it was held up by customs, which is out of their control. But you’d expect a company that “has done this before” to be aware of lengthy waiting times and give you a realistic timeline rather than to email once a week saying “let’s see by Friday where we are”.

That aside, once my things finally arrived, my TV was SHATTERED and some of my belongs were MISSING. Tried contacting them SEVERAL TIMES about the “£40 insurance” I was promised to no avail at all. They are simply IGNORING me now that they’ve got my money and I’m in a different country. Really not the way to do business. I am now 100% sure I will never receive any compensation for their sloppy job from start to finish.

It’s incredible how nice and responsive they are to you until they take your goods and you pay them. The moment your things leave there’s an instant change in their attitude where they act like they are doing you a favour. They’re not. You paid them. They should have the decency to provide a good service, or at least to be respectful enough not to ignore you when you asked them questions (which happened several times) and enquiring about the things THEY broke. All I can say is this: avoid wheeler logistics at all costs.

(AMENDMENT):

Having seen their response here, I am appalled:

1) After posting my original review here, I finally received an email reply from them (mind you, they completely ignored my previous emails about my broken TV and missing goods). The email said “there are laws that prevent people from claiming false reviews, and that I had two days before they ‘commenced procedures’”. This was clearly supposed to serve as some sort of THREAT to intimidate me to remove my review here, which reflects reality. I obviously will not remove it. But what happened next was even worse.

2) Then, they added their response here, calling out my nationality?? What does the fact that I am Brazilian have to do with this? I emailed them saying this is xenophobic, which it clearly is. Then, I was copied in an internal email by accident (which I was not supposed to see), which called me a W*NKER. I responded saying this was unprofessional - Dave Wheeler’s response in verbatim: “Yes, and I was near to you, I would  tell You exactly what I thought of You And a lot more.?". I would attach a screenshot of this here if Trustpilot let me. Disgraceful.

I could go on and on but I won’t. I think the above serves as as perfect example of what sort of treatment you can expect to receive from this company. I’m not even interested in getting compensation from my missing goods and broken TV anymore - I am simply done being in contact with people that insult and disrespect me after I paid them to provide a service to me.

PS: One final comment - notice how two new reviews were just added since mine. Not saying they are fake, but extremely odd they were added right after I added mine. Be careful!

What A Disgraceful Feedback. Mr Matteus A Guimaraes ( Brazilian) booked a shipment with us for delivery to Lisbon. The Goods were held at the Portuguese for nearly a Month pending Customs Clearance, apparantly due to a backlog and the Holiday season. After Three weeks the Customs informed that Mr Guimaraes had a debt with the Portuguese Treasury, so would Not customs clear his Goods untill the debt had been paid. Mr Guimaraes spoke with the Treasury, because he had already paid the debt, then spoke with the Customs official, who needed the confirmation from the Treasury, so several days later the Portuguese Customs authorised the clearance of the goods. At no time did we say to Mr Guimaraes that the goods would be delivered in a certain Time. Regarding the alledged broken Television. Mr Guimaraes, had the option when booking to have a full cover insurance policy, or a FREE policy. The Free policy excludes fragile items, like Televsion's. The television was just wrapped in a blanket, and with all his Other goods, we packed and shipped in our Removal Frame, and Mr Guimaraes decided that he did not want to insure his Goods, instead took advantage of our Free policy, even though he was aware that self packed, fragile items like Televsion's were Not covered. When the Goods were delivered, Mr Guimaraes signed for ALL goods, as being in Good condition.
We do not Understand why Mr Guimaraes would now write this type of feedback, when the complaints are totally false, and inacurate.
Needless to say, for anyone reading this feedback, we would suggest that you avoid Mr Guimaraes if you are ever contacted by Him, as his has been proven to be totally unreliable in the manner in which he conducts himself, and in the feedback he has written. We have of course approached Mr Guimaraes to explain his reasons for this inaccurate feedback.
He has written false accusations about our services, and even though we have written email confirmation from him that he received all His Goods, he is still persisting in trying to say that he had missing Goods. Myself and Two of my team are married to people from outside the UK, so to even suggest that we are Zenophobic, is an absolute disgrace,
He has given false accusations about missing goods, his Televsion, and the time frame,
Sometimes we have to deal with people who just simply live in a world where nothing else matters apart from themselves. It is very sad. We have continued to email Mr Guimaraes asking for further information, but just receive abusive emails, rather than just replying to very simple questions. And the email he received was Not an Internal email but was an email To Mr Guimaraes, so Not sure, again, what he is talking about......

Great company for your moves.

I contracted with them a move from London to Madrid and both Dave and Trevor were very professional with their work. The items were carefully packed and arrived quickly and in perfect condition at the destination country. They take care of all customs procedures so it is very comfortable for the client. Finally, remember that they have very good prices so if I need to move again, I will contact them without hesitation.

Wrap your own items and get proper insurance

I am only giving 2 stars. The company was very friendly and great communication. Dave was fabulous, really nice and helpful to navigate us through the details and they ensured to fill in the documents for us as well. But, we had some issues, as the packaging of the items we agreed to be secured were not packaged to the standards expected. I recommend to make sure to check and sign off on the final packaging of each item if this is part of the contract and agreement. For example, I was not present when everything was packaged, I left behind a very detailed itinerary and each box and item was numbered. This was not followed. Some additional items where packed, such as flower pots from the balcony with earth. I asked to package up securely a baby mattress but it arrived dirty, the foil was loose and not taped up. The earth from the flower pots (which were not on the list) was all over all items in the pallet. I asked to package the baby cot furniture, but it was not wrapped in any bubble wrap or similar at all, so when it arrived it was scratched, wood was cracked and damaged. Such a shame, I was very sad about this of course. And we had an adult bicycle, it was meticulous, but arrived with scratches from rubbing off against the wooden pallets on the way. There was no secure packaging to ensure the bike frame arrives without damage. The normal insurance of Wheeler allows them to damage 7 boxes/ items without it being covered, everything on top is then covered with a mere 40 euro per box. So it's useless and this is explained in their leaflet, but not that clear. So I recommend taking out your own insurance. Also, do take photographs of everything you package, make an itinerary and also photograph what you ask them to package up. I did all this but Wheeler disappointed, because they didn't wrap up the loose items, we agreed they would securely package them. And they didn't apologize afterward, which would have been the least they could do. A shame cause the entire process of getting everything into the van and across to Portugal was nice communication and smooth. Finally, note, that there will be tax to be paid, unless you have a letter from the home country/council confirming you are moving and changing residence (which can take time)! Plus you will need a NIF number from Portugal too (you can get this online, take 3-10days). Otherwise, there will be tax to be paid on your items! Don't rush it, take your time to understand everything and organise perhaps your own wrapping of things! Had Wheeler apologised for the broken items and their faults, I may use them again, but they became defensive and this was very sad, so won’t use them again.

This client left their goods at an apartment in London, which had been rented out to a Friend. The mattress was loose, but we put this inside a mattress cover, the 2nd Hand Bicycle was left outside on the Balcony, and the Tenant had put all plant pots and objects around probably causing the scratches that were noted, and the goods were all signed for in Good order when delivered. Regarding the Insurance, the client was offered Two Policies, the first being a FREE policy, which is standard practise under the British Association of movers, and a full goods in transit policy for a small premium. The client chose the FREE policy, and the dubious claim they made was under the Excess so Insurers rejected their claim. As the client had all the information, prior to booking, it is completely unjustified that they now write these type of comments, and not appreciate what was offered to them.

Unprofessional service

Unprofessional service. First, they piled up all your stuff in the same parcel to save some space and put your stuff into a bigger trunk. Due to that my TV (Around 1000 pounds) came broken in pieces. No solution provided by the company more than "try" to give 40 pounds as the insure per box. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t recommend.

Unfortunately this Customer has Tried to make a Fraudulent Claim that has been rejected by Insurers. ALL goods were delivered inside the Customers property, and the Customer signed for ALL the goods as being received in good condition. EIGHT WEEKS Later he emailed us to say his Television was damaged and wanted compensation for £ 666.00 - With the Booking he had accepted, he had Full cover for Fire and Theft. He also had a FREE cover of £ 40.00 per item, and had the opportunity to extend the Free cover, but declined to do so. The Goods were all packed securely, safely and were well protected, photos were sent to the customer prior to shipping, and he thanked us for our professional care. we have been in communication with the customer since he notified us last week of the damage,(eight weeks after he received delivery) but he has continually threatened us with various actions unless he received full payment for the value of his Television. Naturally, we were not prepared to accept his threats, and he is now writing false and incorrect allegations, that we have not offered any solutions.
For anyone reading this, we feel sure you will see exactly what has happened, and that this particular customer should be avoided at all costs,

Excellent Service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Very recently we had the need to transport some items from the UK to Spain and decided to use Wheeler Logistics. We packed the items and they were collected on the date we asked for. When the items were palleted at their depot in Croydon we got a photo to show it was ready to go. They kept us updated as to the progress of our items and once in Spain we were contacted for delivery and our items turned up on the same pallet that left the UK with nothing broken or damaged. From start to finish the customer service was second to none (and they're not expensive either).
