As a pet caregiver on wag for the last 2 years, I'm extremely disappointed with WAG and some of your policies. Recently, I had a walk on Black Friday, I was happy to help the pet parent out and accepted a walk for the same day. As I checked in and headed for the location, about 5 minutes later, the pet parent messaged me that she needed to cancel. At the point, I said, sure no problem, and asked her to cancel in the app. She didn't respond. I contacted customer service and sent a screenshot of my conversation where it stated she wanted to cancel. The representatvie removed the booking so I wouldn't receive a no show but didn't not release any of the money to me, the person who was doing the work and spend gas money driving to the location. As far as I'm concerned, and with other companies like Rover, the pet caregiver gets paid or receives a cancellation fee. Neither of these happened. SHAME ON WAG FOR STICKING TO THE PET CARGIVERS WHO ARE OUT THERE DOING THE WORK WITH VERY LITTLE COMPENSATION.

DO NOT use this unreliable service if you care about your pet. We had a sitter confirmed for over a week, sitter messages me day we are leaving advising how excited she is to spend time with our dog.. we land only to find out she hasn’t shown up ONCE. Now our dog is sitting home alone, with no food, for however long the app takes to find a new sitter (on a holiday). This app may be sufficient for quick one and done walks, but do not trust anyone or this app to sit or board your dog. Next time we’ll pay extra to board, and in the meantime let everyone we know to avoid this app at all costs. Thanks for ruining the start to our holiday, Wag!

This company unjustly deactivated my loyal dog walker after she posted a public review out of sheer frustration with their customer support. She spent days getting the runaround—every support rep gave her a different answer, no one would escalate her case, and they consistently avoided providing any real help.
After she posted on social media, Wag suddenly claimed they were “investigating” her because a client left his phone number in a message. But they had already blocked her from accepting bookings days earlier without telling her why. They later claimed they received a report about her before the block, which makes no sense—if that were true, they would’ve contacted her immediately. It’s an obvious cover-up.
She has only ever received 5-star reviews from every client she’s worked with. She’s reliable, professional, and adored by the dogs she cares for. The issue here is not her—it’s Wag’s terrible, unreliable app and their inconsistent, unaccountable, and dismissive support system.
Get a sitter recommended by your community, not from Wag. Their priority is money, not dogs, not customers, and certainly not their walkers.

A wag ****** raped my dog , I went to pick them up early and found the caregiver cleaning my dogs a*** with towels and water. (They) trans - said he had diarrhea but when I went to the vet the technician said the dog had been penetrated and likely raped. Wag has no customer service, no phone to call , no responses at all
UPDATE: EXACTLY. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTACT SUPPORT WHEN YOU HAVE PUNTED ME FROM THE PLATFORM. STOP ACTING LIKE YOU CARE ABOUT DOGS, PET PARENTS, OR WALKERS. ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. YOU DON'T ADDRESS ANY ISSUES. YOU JUST PUNT PERFECTLY INNOCENT PEOPLE WITHOUT EVEN HAVING A DISCUSSION WITH THEM. I have 2 Shih zhu pups that have been using wag since May. Drop in visit 30 minutes to play and go outside. All involved have been attentive share videos and give updates. Adriane has been there today and frequently.

I am very very upset at the way Wags is treating one of their seasoned pet walkers with such disregard. I wanted to schedule a spot with Wendy Salter, she is my 1# favorite and I was unable for the last 3 days to locate her on the app, she is hands down the best and it disgust me that such a experienced pet walker would be stopped for 3 days of doing her wonderful job and that her clients would be unable to use her services.

Wag has been a life saver for my animals! esp since recently when i just had surgery and i can’t walk them how i want to, there are people who love my pets as much as me! to still walk my pups!

Had a scheduling snafu and the wag team responded timely professionally and helpful!…I was concerned that I could not get a live person but those concerns disappeared with the numerous emails from the team - helping me to understand how to re-schedule, same caregiver and getting refund if needed. No worry app!!..I love Wag and will only use it for any care needed by our puppy Bella!!

I was suspended for 77 days for a no show walk. Which it was because I left phone at work. I was very up, but nevertheless I was able to get the Wag customer service to lift the suspension and I was reinstated. So I'm greatful for their consideration. Peace

This is the worst app and dog walking company. WORST. I started dog walking in the city and used this app to assist - the app is CONSISTENTLY bugging out.
The whole app is absolute garbage. One time while on a walk with a dog, I needed to use the emergency call on the app, and it was ABSOLUTELY useless. The person on the Wag side was asking me all these needless questions and kept putting me on hold.
The app freezes up nearly every time I use it.
This company blows.

Absolute worst sitter I’ve ever had. When my dog got hotspots and I asked her to take my dog to vet she refused. Sitter got sick and called her boyfriend over to walk my dogs without permission. Sitter refused to communicate with me. When my second sitter arrived she said there was piles of dog poop in back yard which meant not only did she not walk them but refused to pick it up. Sitter confirmed house was very dirty.
I contacted Wag representative and was told there’s nothing they can do about what occurred and refused to compensate in anyway.
