Absolutely amazing service!

Absolutely amazing service!! My friend recommended the garage after I had to dump my car due to a flat tyre and a puncture in the other… they arranged to pick it up with 2 guys as their pick up truck had been involved in an accident! I’d only had the car 2 weeks and no idea where anything was. The guys took over and looked over the whole car for me. I have now found my garage for EVERYTHING…. Thank you

A very poor experience through and through.

I have just collected my high value motorhome from this outfit in pieces, paying a bill for £2746.32 and if I could give a zero star rating for what I’ve just experienced then I would.

The manager was beyond rude when I was forced to pay in order to get my vehicle back, in that he kept a low profile by hiding away in his office, quite astonishingly, communicating with me through the wall.

The vehicle went in last Tuesday for a timing belt, water pump, new tyres, gold service, front brake discs & pads, and rear pads. I received a call on Weds morning advising me that there were some issues with it, some of which it transpired had been misdiagnosed and were not as had first been reported. One of the issues reported was allegedly a minuscule drip from the heater matrix. The vehicle wasn’t using any water at all, that’s how minuscule the leak was! I’m beginning to believe they invented it to cover themselves.

Once they’d done the water pump and disturbed the coolant system, the alleged minuscule drip became a huge leak! The way they dealt with the issue (or rather didn’t deal with it) was woeful and unprofessional, spending four days moving the goalposts around and insulting my intelligence.

The manager was unable to give me any indication of the labour cost to do the job, he quoted me for the wrong part at £900.00 (parts only) and in any case with no availability for five weeks, that we’ve since established even if it was that part, it is available from stock at the Fiat main dealers. I’ve since ordered an OEM Denso heater matrix for £53.00 in readiness for a capable garage to do the job next week.

The manager also had the audacity to advise me that they’ll only remove the dashboard to do the job if I accept all liability for anything that gets broken as a result of them doing so. Such an unprofessional thing to say!

As if the matrix issue isn’t bad enough, along with a huge pen mark on the white passenger door panel, that absolutely was not there when I took it in, the vehicle now has a Passenger airbag fault that it didn’t have when it went in, which is likely down to a battery disconnection issue or the fact they moved the vehicle with a disconnected instrument cluster and the steering now judders, which feels like the wheels need balancing, which is supposed to have been done with the new tyres. Notwithstanding, the absolutely disgraceful way in which the manager dealt with me as a new customer spending almost £3K with them. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life and I am truly offended by his woeful conduct. They also agreed to do a couple of jobs that have not been carried out, which once again highlights poor integrity.

The end result is I went to collect it in order to take it to a reputable garage who are capable of doing the job, with a positive approach, as opposed to my experience here, where their manager managed to find a problem for every solution that was discussed, rendering it impossible to move forward with him.

Clearly their good reviews are from people who have had straight forward jobs done. When there’s a problem that goes against the grain, and they should be committed there is no desire to resolve it. The customer service skills (where my experience of him is concerned) leave an awful lot to be desired and I do note that this will be the eleventh one star review this garage has received on Google reviews.

To summarise, I took my vehicle in for some service and maintenance work, spent a fortune, and left with a vehicle that can’t be used, leaving me with no option other than to cancel my holiday this week. His whole demeanour suggested that he genuinely does not care less, and he made no effort to prove otherwise. He was only interested in being paid!!

An absolute nightmare experience in the hands of the inexperienced.
