Great event great work staff such a gd course deffo would recommend doing nice to have somthing around Leeds way

I volunteered with total warrior this year and ran the course also.
My volunteer experience was great from start to finish. From the friendly greeting in the morning and then keeping groups of friends together throughout the day to the food and water being provided. They checked in with us constantly and were just legendary people all day. The event is run in a very welcoming and organised way. The instructions prior to arrival were very clear and there wasn’t a moment in the day where I wasn’t sure what I was doing.
The obstacle course itself was really good fun - difficult but not completely intimidating. The course maintenance was fantastic - there were always many people around to guide you and motivate you and I felt very safe the whole time. The staff are all in constant contact via walkie talkies and can get around quickly using buggies.
The whole experience was fantastic and I’m already signed up to volunteer and run the race again next year!

Total warrior and junior warrior is amazing, well organised, staff and volunteers go above and beyond, plenty of fun muddy obstacles, a fun challenge to be had by all.

Absolutely fantastic day out at Total Warrior! Our whole team had an incredible time from start to finish. The event was brilliantly organised, with a buzzing atmosphere and friendly, encouraging staff who kept the energy high and the laughs coming.

The location was stunning – a perfect mix of rugged trails, hills, and water features that made the course as beautiful as it was brutal! Every obstacle was challenging but achievable, with just the right balance of mud, madness and muscle.

The course layout was superb – tough enough to push us out of our comfort zones but so well thought-out that it never felt overwhelming. We loved the camaraderie it inspired – not just within our team, but with the other runners too. Strangers became teammates, and teamwork was at the heart of every muddy scramble and icy plunge.

From the warm-up to the finish line beer, it was a top-tier event. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a proper physical challenge, a lot of laughs, and an unforgettable team experience.

We’ll definitely be back – muddier, louder, and even more up for it next time! 💪💦🔥

What an amazing experience. I didn't know what I was in for the first time. 5 years in a row and beating my time each year. Gives me motive to train harder. Everything about the event is awesome. I love the challenges and they move the obstacles around a little bit each year. Volunteering for the event is also great fun & the best way to get a free ticket to race

Have done the Uktra 3 times...amaazing experience and did Total Warrior in a team...everyone ahd so much fun. Great challenging obstacles!! Safe and well marked. Great atmosphere!

Attended this even for the past several years and it’s the most fun. Well if you like mud, ice, water and fire!

Good variety of obstacles all in stunning surroundings and supported by an amazing staff and team of volunteers.

I have both taken part as a runner and helped as a volunteer at this event for several years.

It is a fantastically well run event, expertly organised and designed to provide a safe, and wildly enjoyable challenge for everybody of all age levels and abilities.

The atmosphere offers festival feels and good family friendly vibes, with delicious food vendors serving up a variety of food and drinks.

Whether you enter a mini event or the full course you’re guaranteed to leave feeling full of pride and joy.

Couldn’t recommend it more. ✌️

I volunteered for the first time at Leeds and was really looked after as a helper. The whole event was really well put together. A fantastic event and will be back next year.

We paid extra to be covered incase we needed to cancel and low and behold we need to cancel! We went online to cancel and the only options were ridiculous, death of family (need proof), injury (need proof), fire, burglary (also need proof!) Ive paid extra for cancellation cover and we cant even get our money back... I even have to pay extra to transfer to another date!!! Absolutely disgusting, Total Rip off!

AMAZING EVENT!
We return to Total Warrior ever year because it is simply the best Obstacle Course race in the UK.
It’s a fun, friendly, inclusive event but also an even athletes can really test themselves. Every year it just gets better and better.
If you want to push your limits this is the event for you and if you want fun with your friends it’s also the event for you!

The company have such core values wanting every person to have a great experience.

My Daughter has also experienced Junior Warrior last year and this is by far my most fulfiling race yet. Watching the pure delight in her face

Great experience, very well organised and a good mix of obstacles.

Total Warrior was very well organised, it didn't feel like a standalone event but something well planned and carried out. The obstacles offer a wide variety of challenges and also a bit of fun.

Pretty much echoing what others have said:

Did the Ultra in July, for whatever reason, the chip didn't record my time - but the stewards on the day were taking down times.

Emailed several times - no reply

Even the finish times on the website has someone else's name down under my number. If it wasn't for paying through the nose for photos, it's as if I hadn't done it.

'The Chief' indeed - what a total crock. The point of doing laps is to know your times. It's frustrating and disappointing.

I'll not do another through them. Terrible customer service. They get a notification about reviews on here and won't even care about what's being said either.

The worst customer service ever. Getting hold of anyone is a nightmare can't attend new date and can't get a reply re refund etc. Will be taking further as legally they are in wrong

No response to emails, messages or posts. I have a ticket for June but I cannot see this event online and believe it was cancelled. No communication or clarification.

Why would an event organiser with such a big follower have zero communication or support is beyond me. Im afraid this sounds to be the end of Total Warrior given how they have not shown up for what was loyalty from the customers. A simple communication, struggling to respond or a post would be something - but just nothing is not acceptable.

£150 down the drain and can't see how I can get it back - utterly disappointing. shame
