Good work execution recently by Thermo for both floor and wall insulation. Improvement already noticed - e.g. release of humid air into the house from wet underfloor is considerably reduced; also some noticable influence in house temperature. Still in process of testing, and hope the upcoming winter will better prove it.
The cavity wall insulation was installed in half a day. The work had been efficiently performed, the house and surrounding were left tidy, and there is no sign of any drilling.
I have received offer with a discount for cavity wall foam insulation. The offer was supposed to be confirmed till the end of August 2022. So I confirmed the offer. Then 4-6 week till installation. 28.09 I contacted Thermo Solutions myself asking for the date (they did not do it). I got reply with date of installation on 06/10. Nobody came on this date and nobody called. After several attempts I reached somebody and got an answer that the team was on the way to and suddenly one of the workers got ill. Ok, we rescheduled to 12/10. The same story with sudden illness of a worker and no information in advance. Then final reschedule to 31/10. They came finally in time but refused to work because there were cars in front of the facade of our house. I tried to explained to the workers that there's a wide flowerbed near the house and it should be ok to work from and that Thermo Solutions did not inform how much space they need. They just went away. Nobody from Thermo solutions tried to contact me after that to try to find a way to solve the issue. But they sent their invoice for payment the same day and then sent a reminder without even know that no job was done! They do very good advertising, sending paper and email offers but absolutely terrible service. I do not know how good or bad quality of their job. But looks like they have just one crew of 3 men and a lot of "nice" sales managers selling work of those 3 men. Of course I never recommend this company. I spent so much time on them with 0 result.
Easy to use..Tears to size, requires no protective clothing or tools, I highly recommend it!
