Disappointing cleanliness of cottage in Sennen…
Stayed at Little Gwenver in Sennen in August and unfortunately was very disappointed with the standard of cleaning! Banister hand rails filthy, not been cleaned properly for weeks/months. Numerous cobwebs which were not just 'missed between change overs' had been there for months! Brown lime scale ridden toilet. Mould in the sealant all around the shower... Should have been replaced at the start of the summer season!
Most of the oven trays were in very poor condition and the only frying pan was bad enough you would not want to eat anything from it! Just 4 mouldy old pegs supplied for the outdoor washing line too!
The list goes on and on.
Disgraceful at the price they are charging for a week. Owners apparently lived next door and despite their ' very welcoming' pack on the table, were not friendly or approachable, even had a very smokey BBQ one evening within feet of us and not once made eye contact or said hello! Weird!
But beware.... Make sure you check your terms and conditions.... As I didn't notify them immediately of the problems (because we were trying to get on and enjoy our holiday!!), they have refused to offer any form of compensation and stopped replying to emails!!
Cornish people in general also seem to hate the tourists and ARE NOT FRIENDLY, very disappointed!
Would never use this company again!
