Theyre incapable of getting basic (and i really mean basic) information

Dont bother trying, they have no ability to answer basic questions,

How basic you may ask?

As basic as "roads closed where do i get the bus from?"

Im autistic and getting stressed (because i have no information) and what does he do?

That stupid "calm down" thing that does nothing but exasserbates the issue 🤦‍♂️

Then cuts the phone off because stressed and he didnt like it 🤦‍♂️

I as yet dont know where to go or anything.......THANKS TFL.......GREAT JOB......NOT 🤦‍♂️

Distopian

I just realized that it's impossible to buy a single bus ticket with a cash (it used to be £1), not even in the shops. You're now forced to buy a tube ticket at the station (which is £14 with return for central London) which is the half of the cost of monthly ticket just to go two ways. What the heck?
Many years ago it was completely different, there was at least some information at every station where you can ask, now there is nothing.
Are the services degrading?

London Drivers Forced to Pay ‘Just in Case’: TfL’s Outdated Congestion Charge System Leaves People Guessing

I genuinely cannot believe how outdated and confusing the TfL charging system is.

We drove a van across London. Upon checking licence plate, there is no way to actually confirm if you owe anything for that day. The system does not show the journey, there is no real time confirmation, and you cannot even select the current date to see if a charge applies.

So what are people supposed to do? The only option seems to be paying “just in case” to avoid a fine. That is honestly ridiculous and feels like a scam.

In 2026 we have ANPR cameras everywhere, number plates are scanned automatically, yet drivers still have no clear way to see immediately if a charge has been triggered. Instead people are left guessing, worrying about penalties, and searching through multiple websites.

It feels like a system from another decade. With the technology available today, it should be simple:
the camera reads the plate and the system immediately tells you whether you owe £0 or a charge.

Right now the experience is confusing, stressful, and unnecessarily complicated.

Not even worth 1 star

Not even worth 1 star. Greedy doesn’t even begin to describe it. The way TfL is run feels completely unfair and unacceptable. Very disappointing.

Called TFL to have a simple balance…

Called TFL to have a simple balance transferred to another oyster and after taking far too long on the phone with an agent that gave the impression of uselessness I was reassured it would only take a few days to show.

Two weeks later nothing transferred. Waste of time. Who is employing these idiotic types to basically do nothing?

Well done mayor Sadikk massive fail again.

Worst shit ever created in the history

Worst shit ever created in the history. I rather to be transported by any type of horse instead of this shitty system. Someone has to modify and interfere in all the delays, 30min between buses in the capital city. This must be a shame for everyone, to have this useless public transport system in the country’s capital city. What can you expect from different systems covering more important aspects such as health, education, criminality, etc. If they can’t control basic needs from the population.

Blackwell tunnel Racket

GPS took me down Blackwell tunnel, as well as a few others and I was unsure if there's more than one charge to pay.

Phoned to give my registration number, expecting their staff to tell me how many charges are payable to pay and be done with this ordeal (a very basic and reasonable question: how much am I due to pay, please)

They outright won't give you the information, repeat the same line "it's the driver's responsibility to know where they drove" and the more you explain that there is uncertainty as to how many crossings to pay for, the more they repeat the same line over and over.

It's essentially a racket operation and their staff seriously need to either quit and find a real job or treat people with compassion and respect as it's been a while since last I had to deal with such rude, globalist-enabling humans over the phone.

Utterly utterly rude, useless and 100% effective to frustrate people into their 15 minute cities because driving is purposefully made impossible and undesirable by globalists in most large western cities now.

Oh, and if you overpay just in case, to avoid a PCN, that money is GONE! They just take it. No refunds for overpaying.

So, the burden is entirely offloaded to the driver. They run a system that catch people for money, then when you ask them, how much to pay, they refuse to tell you and you have to guess, and if you guess wrong, you get a £180 ticket. This is disgusting to impose on people, utterly wrong and a money racket!

No 371 bus service Sat-13-Dec

Another experience of 'no bus on a Saturday' while waiting for ~40 minutes outside Sainsburys on Manor Road. I got there at 15.20 and at 16.00 I cut my losses and walked 35 mins home with heavy shopping bags.
The other 4 out of 5 of the other people at the bus stop did the same.
If you can't be bothered to run a service on a Saturday (for whatever reason) YOU NEED TO TELL PEOPLE!

LONDON UNDERGROUND THIEVES- SNATCHER'S, PLUCKER'S & GRABBER'S

Dear London Underground Travelers

On the London Underground is The Snatcher Thief stands by the exit and times the theft carefully. The Plucker thief selects a victim who has fallen asleep in their seat, The Grabber thief watches as victim is distracted and puts their digital device on a seat.

On 30.11.25 the Victoria (Blue Line) Underground train was pulling out of Warren Street at 4.29am.
I was sitting in the last carriage.

From Warren Street-> Oxford Circus -> Green Park ->Victoria -> Pimlico -> Vauxhall -> Stockwell to Stockwell, takes 10 Minutes travelling time, I was feeling tired and fell asleep, that was all it took within 6 Stops, my Backpack on my Lap in my hands was PLUCKED out of my hand by the two men, ran away and disappeared with
1. My Laptop and Charger $1,500.00
2. Pink iPhone 13 128 GB purchased in USA $850
3. Ivory iPhone 13 128 GB purchased in USA $850
4. iPhone Charger
5. And other valuable items.

I noted it was plucked out of my hands, the maximum, time frame was a very very short window of 4.29AM - 4.45AM, I spoke to the Train Driver, I went upstairs to speak to Stockwell London Underground Staff, I informed them all my devices were stolen I asked as I was disorientated, shocked and crying please may the London Underground staff help me to ring or contact the police or text the British Transport Police, they refused to help me text, nor ring British Transport Police, with the awareness both of my Mobile Phones were stolen and Laptop stolen, I have no method, no means to text and ring British Transport Police, they refused to help, cannot be bordered to offer any support nor help, disconnected from the Victim of Crimes on London Underground. Stockwell London underground staff said I had to ring or text BTP by myself.

As I had no phone to call British Transport Police (BTP) and no phone to text BTP I traveled to Euston Station to report the incident.

I provided BTP the Date 30.11.25, Maximum Time Frame of CCTV Footage 4.29am to 4.45am Sixteen Minutes (16 minutes), sitting in the last Carriage with the two male's that robbed me, I am shaken up and shocked by this incident, a feeling of unsafe.

I followed up today 1/12/25 with the British Transport Police there was nothing to report back, on a crime that took only 16 minutes.

The Snatcher Thief, The Plucker Thief, The Grabber Thief are out there on the underground 27/4 monitoring us "as their next victim" and they are very fast.

On 30.11.25 at 5.11am, whilst I was shocked, crying, and disorientated, having lost valuable items "The Plucker Thief had already started to defraud my Lloyds Bank Debit Card to purchase a Travel Ticket £40.

BTP please kindly contact Lloyds Bank to get further information via the Police liaison line.

There should be zero tolerance, for the Snatcher, Plucker and Grabber Thieves.

And there should be support for the victims of London Underground Robbery.

I looking forward to swift investigations into these attacks and hefty prison sentences to deter these thieves.

I will be back to give further feedback on this incident.

They obviously don't wany visitors

I was recently a visitor to London and hired a car to travel North after staying in London for a few days. On the way out I simply followed Maps as per Google on my phone and it took me via, what they call, a Congestion Charging Zone, I had never heard of it and it meant nothing to me but I then received a fine from them for driving on that road. Besides anything else, this was during the Unferground rail strike in Sept and the roads were chaos and all I wanted was 'out'. I appealed the fine but no allowance was made for either the strike or the fact that I was an overseas visitor. If they want to impose such a system, which has apparently been in place since 2003. you would think they would even be obligated to work with Google Maps to at least make that work. They have had 22 years in which to do this.
Simply another money grab by yet another local council.
I am disgusted with their attitude to visitors and the fact that no allowance was made for either the Maps issue or the fact that the roads were chaos due to the strike.

Incompetent criminals

Incompetent criminals, had my postcode wrong ended up £180 down, the initial fine came through, which I appealed, as i was within KENT postcode, there after someone, their end had my postcode down wrong and received no update.
Ended up checking online and it had gone up to £270!
Through practically begging they'd reduced it to 180 if the car wasnt registered in my grandads name id have fought as it was wrong doing their end.
To even have an initial fine of £90 is extortionate! No option of payment plans, and a disgusting 'i dont give a sh*t' attitude

All they do is strike

All they do is strike, paralysing the whole city and holding residents and visitors hostage. Is your average pay of £75k pa. as a tube driver not good enough? Change a job if you don't like it

Lovely to see that the here the rating…

Lovely to see that the here the rating is even lower than google. What a miserable piece of company that cannot schedule their maintenances in order to avoid clash with main events in London. Anyway, what was I expecting, TFL at it's best.
