Return Policy is terrible for customers

As much as I was able to find what I needed on the website, the return policy is 'Draconian'. They require the packages not to be opened, or they won't accept a return. How can you determine if the product will work in an application without taking it out of the box/wrapper? This is a very bad business model. If the item hasn't been used, it should be returnable no matter what package it is in.

I understand that it can be difficult to determine whether the light will meet your needs without opening the packaging, and I appreciate your perspective.

However, in order for us to accept an item as a return, it must be in resalable condition. Unfortunately, the packaging for the lights was opened and then taped closed. As a customer, you would likely expect to receive a new product in its original, unopened packaging rather than one that has been opened and resealed.

I’m sorry that you feel our return policy is overly restrictive. Our policy is in place to ensure that every customer receives products in the best possible condition and that we maintain the quality standards our customers expect.

Irritating business practice!

My order arrived as described online, however, it took over a month before it was delivered. The unacceptable aspect was, after I had put in the ordered two weeks went by without any notifications from Strobes-N-More, as where the product was. I requested a delivery date and they responded with an estimated date of maybe two more weeks. This is just a terrible way to treat customers, if you want to have returning customers! If you don't have a product in stock and it's going to take a month to get it, you should be honest and say so up front or at least make contact, so the customer, isn't left in the dark! This style of transaction, is usually an indicator of a business in trouble. Please accept this from someone who's had their own business for 40 years and seen where this type of practices leads to, "resentful customers"
