Wanted balanced earphones to use with my DAP and the soundmagic E80's were the ones i chose after reading loads of reviews. With the 3.5mm jack they are very good but with the 4.4mm adapter i bought seperately (My player takes both sizes and the adapter is a different make) they are excellent. I am not an audiophile by any means and i cannot begin to explain the difference between the 3.5 jack and the balanced 4.4mm jack, but the difference in the power output to the phones makes me hear music clearer, if that makes sense. ie, the instruments seem to be seperated more and the bass does'nt just crash in but is more subtle, just nicer to listen to the music.

Arrived quite prompt and free delivery . My good lady is quite pleased with them as well, so all good, oh and well priced compared with others and good quality all around including sound. Nice one . Magic👍

Super-quick delivery and a great sounding product for a bargain price - what’s not to like?
Only had the earbuds a week or so, so unable to comment on longevity, but the build initially seems really solid.

I am re-writing this review to amend my part in wrongly disparaging this business. While there were functional issues with the product itself, the customer service i recieved was outstanding, considerate, and generous. I apologise to the team at SoundMagic for my previous review and 1 star rating and reviewing the product and not the service. Thank you for your service and for informing me on the proper use of these review platforms.

I am very impressed with my purchase (especially at this price-point). I bought them after reading a recommendation in What Hi-Fi and bought them wondering if I could improve my experience of using a pair of Klipsch which are 4-5 years old and which cost almost double. I’ve had a love-hate relationship with them, the main gripes being they need to be driven hard with the volume cranked up on my IPhone 14 leading to fatigue after relatively short listening sessions.
Around 4-5 days in and that is not presenting itself as a problem with the E11C’s!! I’m finding I can enjoy my vast iTunes library for longer and in greater comfort and it is noticeable that I can lower the volume a good couple of notches on said IPhone. I have even just out of curiosity dug out my 20 yrs old (ish) Sony Discman and am having a blast pairing it with the E11C’s and rediscovering how good old-fashioned physical media can be as as opposed to the download/stream!!
So, I’m lovin’ it!!
My ONLY reason for a 4 ⭐ is my overall confidence in the construction of the E11C’s. I’m quite nervous handling them, they feel delicate and a little flimsy to me, noticeable when moving from the Klipsch, that’s all. Overall then, good job guys!!
