Excellent experience. Found all the info I required and the Installer recommended did a great job.

Our hot water system needed to be replaced, but replacing it with a heat pump hot water system seemed so complicated. It turned out to be super simple and fast by getting quotes through Solar Choice.

Solar Choice recommended 3 different suppliers & gave indicative costs. The quotes weren’t strictly comparable but as a starting point they were very helpful. The industry must be very competitive as all 3 made contact very quickly to what was my first on-line enquiry. What would be helpful is to briefly explain upfront how the STC Solar Credits & State rebates impact the net system price (based on system size).

Very helpful in deciding what company to use and which water heat pump to install.

Follow-up 09/02/2025 - as a result of this review the company contacted me and discussed my concerns. They acknowledged some shortcomings in their process and have more recently advised me that they have made a number of changes to the way they do assessments that should address the issues to some degree. Good on them for taking action for future customers, but we are still out of pocket nearly $1000 with no useful result.

Original review 10/10/2024 - This company looks good on the surface. We paid for a feasibility study, however the so called feasibility study was a complete fantasy. There was no attempt to properly survey our building to see what would need to happen to complete a solar installation so when the referred installation companies attended the site it became apparent that the quotes for installation costs and outcomes regarding savings on energy costs were complete fantasy. A total waste of money and time - don't bother.

Good site - easy to use. We chose one of the recommended suppliers and were very happy.

Eco Alliance provided great service / support in providing a quote / service and installation of our Ecogenica - EG-290FR. They provided all the information we needed to make the right choice and then installed and tested the unit to ensure it worked correctly. The installation was very well done with no mess or waste left behind. Best of all the same unit elsewhere we were quoted far more than our price - especially with “no add on cost” other installers have applied.
All in all a 10 / 10 experience.

Through SolarChoice I got three great quotes for a solar PV system for my roof. They were all good and competitive -- in the end I went with the lowest cost one, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Very happy with my solar PV system.
