The sales process was excellent. Loved the sofa. Aftercare has been the biggest issue. Sofa was delivered damaged. The delivery guy took pictures and noted asked my wife to sign for damage and said someone would be in touch in 7-10 days. No one was in touch. 18 days later we called sociology and spoke with Chris. He asked for pictures and said it would be resolved within 5-7 days. Now on day 13 since then no contact or acknowledgement of the complaint. I have raised this with finance company creation who then tried to say they weren’t responsible for it, which is not the case under consumer credit act. First girl hung up on me as clearly didn’t know consumer law. Next girl tried the same saying it was nothing to do with them and then after a lengthy hold said they could raise a complaint but didn’t know how long that would take. After pressing her and saying surely you would have a Service Level Agreement with sofology she reluctantly told me they have 5 days to respond. Advised that I wouldn’t be making payments until it was resolved then said this could negatively affect my credit rating, which again is untrue. Giving it 7 days then raising it was the financial ombudsman and with trading standard to resolve on my behalf.

We spent months looking for a new sofa. We started our journey around 6 months ago. We walked into Sofology and we were looked after by Mathew who was absolutely amazing. Mathew has been helping us for 6 months to find out perfect sofa combination. Nothing was to much much him and he went above and beyond. Mathew's attention to detail and in-depth knowledge gave us the confidence to buy from Sofology. We were blown away with Mathews hospitality and patience in our lengthy quest in finding our sofa. Sofology are very lucky to have Mathew working for them.
This is how sales should be done, excellent people skills, kept in contact via email, updated us on products we were interested in, super friendly and approachable, very strong communicator.
When we finally chose our sofa combination Mathew went through all the details and all the information thoroughly from beginning to end.
My wife and I just found Mathew to be a lovely man genuine, kind and caring a real asset to any company.

Had plenty of uninterrupted time to view the various choices available to us. The sales assistant who dealt with us, Leanne, was very knowledgeable and helpful in listing all the options available to us. We left very happy with the choice, make and colour of the sofa we have ordered.

The staff were very friendly from the minute we walked into the premises, they allowed us to browse without any fussing over which was great. When we looked interested in a settee Kimberley came over and showed us all the fabrics and colour swatches we could choose from. Once we made our decision Kimberley went over all the legalities with us along with the payment options. It was a very easy and simple purchase and would recommend them without hesitation.

The lady we dealt with (I think her name is Arlene) was great. The sofa we wanted wasn’t in store but she showed us another one with similar cushions to allow us to sit on it. I really wasn’t sure as it’s a big purchase but she was very patient and gave us the time to talk things through and have a look around. All in all we were pleased with the service.

He was very professional, with a wealth of knowledge about the products in store. Ensuring my wife and I had everything we needed to make an informed decision on what to buy.....whilst he also entertained our two toddlers!
