Server4you shut down my business, cost me thousands!!
... and it was 100% their fault!
Let me explain...
They chanted credit card processors so didn't get payment, then shut me down!
I went online immediately and PAID in full, yet their customer service was CLOSED all weekend, so my site was down all weekend.

Customer for over 10 years and I was very satisfied I would recommend it to everyone Price-performance ratio are top as is the service, I was also made an offer that not everyone does !. Can't understand the negative review. If you have no idea about the operating systems you shouldn't get a server or if you just have no idea;)
I was satisfied! Thanks for all the years.

I am 3 months with the company and I have an evaluation to be made.
At first, the service is a marvel for me to close the deal. I took several questions and all answered satisfactorily.
I made the contract, the availability of the server (the best server) was fast. And I had the first problem, simply when traveling a lot of data the network card stopped. And the server was down (it was transferring data).
With much discussion, they offered another one. I accepted and the same problem. I went to investigate, search the internet and found the solution. The problem was in the driver, after upgrading to a newer one, the problem was resolved. But if you depend on support and refrained from solving the problem. If you are connected and have access then everything is fine.
After a month, carrying out tests, setting up the environment and validating it, yes, I transferred it or not. An error occurred on my part and I was left without access. So I tried the so-called recovery mode. It is simply a Windows running in live and that I can not access the HDs at all, it is simply as if you had a computer without HD and put a pen drive with this system and runs. What can you do with it? The support as always said works so it's your problem, just install the drivers, which drivers do not work for the specific server, do I have to download? What would it be for that server. Once again I had to turn around. After several complaints and hours fighting in support they decide to connect and decide that they could have done a few hours ago and that it took 2 minutes. But this is already a separate service.
The service that should help with recovery does not work so you only have to pay whenever you have a problem.
And here comes another problem, I have to hire some more IPs, I hired one and I had numerous problems, the IP was not accessible by several different users and networks, it simply did not reach. Another problem was in the way this IP works. I can't use it on a VM directly, I have to do NAT to work. Even if I asked before hiring the server the IP I could use directly on a VM and not on the host and do a NAT and have received that I could use directly. The most complete answer was, you can use it however you want.
So I canceled the IP that I stayed a few hours, trying to solve the problems with support. And guess what, I had to pay for something that didn't fit. So I hired another one and the same problematic IP came up, I contacted support again and they said that I would have to hire two and cancel the first one that had no way. In other words, pay for two more and only receive one. In total 3 IPs paid for 1. And the 1 has already been canceled and I need to hire more, I will have to pay again for this problematic IP every time. This if the same problem does not occur on another IP. That second is at least OK. The company's answer if it is working for us or most regions then it is good., The problem is yours.
Then comes the moment when I would transfer more than 10 servers to Server4You. The one I hired was to transfer 1 and make the company's assessment. But apparently we are not going to transfer this one, we are going to look for another company and do the tests, evaluate the quality, support and recovery. If we pass, we will transfer all of them.
Due to the company's quality error, for not having a server with a capacity of 128GB, for failing to maintain a good relationship with the customer. For lack of consideration. You will lose a customer who would hire more than 10 Coffee lake servers.

Quite simply some of the most appauling support I have ever come across. Totally un interested in resolving issues.
The billing system is unbelievably archaic and impossible to make any payments against invoices
The billing department dont even seem to understand the difference between having a paypal account and paying with paypal
Yes the products are very good value for money and i was not disappointed with this aspect, but quite seriously they need to get their act together with regards support and try updating to a modern billing system
Its clear that they dont appreciate that clients that invest in dedicated servers generally have a business to run, not your average joe with a blog about his pet parrot !!!!
Companies like this make me so angry, a pathetic service to say the least
I shouldnt really be suprised it is a godaddy company after all, another despicable orgnisation

The business went above and beyond to get my second server going. Always helpful when I've had questions or concerns and has attempted to do their very best if there were any issues.
I've added another server here recently because for the quality and value of the products they offer it cant be beat. Couple that with fantastic customer service and quality data centers and you have a real winner at an affordable price.
Thank you again.

My Server is suspended due to unpaid even thought it was paid for (a bug on their System). Support does not feel obligated to fix the issue on their end and it's been a week almost. Tried calling, tried ticket, tried chat, just remove your support page if you're not going to provide it please. Placing this review on a new account as my data is technically held in "hostage" by them currently.

server4you do not care about their customer, maybe stop or disable your server without your permission and not release the data.

the server was running without any issues till the power failure at DC and it never came back online even after the power is back at your end.
So, How the disk got the crashed at the same time the power issue happened at your end?
You will need to provide compensation for the downtime we had and also for the service we lost.
Otherwise fix the server ASAP. Dont just ask us to do something. You are always welcome to access the server.

So far I am having a great experience. I have a requirement for an OS not supported by the company, but even so, talking to the sales team I got a server installed and configured with the OS I need in a few hours. And the best part is a server with an excellent configuration for an excellent price me.

I had a server with them once before, and it worked well, for a great price. Later I tried again, and upon my first payment, they attempted to charge my credit card over 100 times in an hour. The fraud department of my credit card company cut them off after 8.
I made a complaint and they refunded 7 of the 8 successful charges, but they didn't apologize, or offer any guarantees that it wouldn't happen again. I get that mistakes and technical difficulties happen, but they didn't seem bothered that they triggered the fraud alerts on my credit card, way overcharged me, and caused me hassle replacing my card. It is incredibly unprofessional, and they are unfortunately untrustworthy.

A very disappointed and bad experience with server4you. First they don't accept their mistake and once you gives them prove they said its disk failure and your all the data will be wash out. I was their old customer but now seriously thinking to move to some professional people.

I have been using ser4you for quite a while. They are great to use for spinning up special projects and have a great tech team that works hard to resolve the issues presented to them. Most of the time they have provided me with quick and easy to follow help, even when it has been marginally outside of scope.
I do have a couple of complaints though (Sorry). It would sure be nice to have more than one IP address with your servers. Getting something with 32GB+ RAM and huge amounts of storage is great, your prices are great, but just one extra IP address is pretty important for some things. It's not the cost that bugs me, it's that I can't order it when I set up my server, it would just be much more customer friendly that way. The second "wish" is that you offered a template for setting up LVM on the server. I have 6TB on my server, but I can really only use 3TB as a raid. It's very helpful to have that option. I know that's not the best we to do things but that's the way I do it. I don't care if you join the 2 disks in your template or not. In fact if you could just partition it so the first HDD could be joined to an LVM we can handle the rest. Thanks for the great product/pricing/support.

My server was working perfectly. They had come kind of problem wich it became inaccesible event via recovery console. Tried to restore backup and it crashed also. Then someone from support fixed it.
Great. 9 hours later i was online again. BUT , someone had the fantastic idea of pushing again the backup over a working production server. Now i´m nearly 20h offline. Backup is not goin . Support tells me the backup is going well , i have to be patient . That is the only thing they write to me.
So , 20 hours later , probably more than 20 tickets with the same answer , this is a backup recovery and no ETA given.
So 20 hours later , 1 customer lost already and probably more to come tomorrow. And the answer from support still just be patient. How come a SSD VPS with 8gb dedicated ram and only 5 webpages (low traffic low size) can take more than 20h to recover? Who knows. I´m loosing money with this service now every minute . They will come and answer ohhh , sorry , we will check. But the hurt is done now. I´m renting a new dedicated server in a serious company and if my vps becomes alive at anytime i will just recover all the data and wipeit forever.

Unfortunately this company is not worthy and can be trusted to handle complex hosting in and outside of their network. Server4you.com do not have the proper training or knowledge understand and how to deal with internal and external network issues, nor do they understand the term peer customer and what means.
This is the second time that a network issue happened on the backbone level and server4you.com failed to take the proper action and forward the ticket to their peer customer level3.net
The techs ignore the warnings of the network issues that was provided to server4.you, rude and makes threats against me.
This type of behavior is not acceptable, poor business practice and should not and will not be tolerated.
Their prices are ok but their service sucks. Their techs need better training and be held more accountable for their conduct.
My recommendation is to find a different provider. Their are plenty of other companies out there that can do a much better job.
