This upgrade is awful!!!!!!!
This upgrade is awful!!!!!!!! It is extremely hard to use and even when I know the name of the job and the town, no schools are listed/found.
It is interfering with my ability to find a job.
What happened?!?!?
Impossible to search for jobs on this website. I used it last year and it was wonderful. It’s completely useless now. Are they trying to get rid of schools? That’s what it looks like. To have all the kids do schoolwork from home.
Not a god upgrade
This is not a good upgrade to Power School from the old website. It is difficult to narrow down your search to relevant jobs since when you click on classroom teacher, the default is to populate all fields instead of letting you choose your area of teaching. Please change this! You also should be able to put in a town name vs. zip code to search. Als, I preferred the old choice to look within miles from my zip code. I do like that you can save job listings now, but it has become an awkward search site now. Please make some changes to make searches easier.
Not sure what happened
I used to go on this site daily to see what new jobs might interest me. I thought it was a really simple comprehensive site to search for job openings. Now it’s such a hassle to do anything and it doesn’t seem to work on my phone easily. Really disappointing. Maybe there will be another web based company will see this as an opportunity
School Spring blows…
Not sure what’s going on but this new update blows. I never signed in with my email name on the old format. The new login page won’t let me login with anything but my email address. Plus, once I got in, I wasn’t able to enter my desired job title and state without the algorithm coming back saying “No match”
I just tried to sign into my…
I just tried to sign into my SchoolSpring account and I can't? Only employers can! Why? There is a big box the prevents new and old educators from signing in/up? Please fix this asap. Why the change? Not user friendly!!
I am unable to log into my account
I am unable to log into my account. I tried with my last known password and no luck. The system is not able to send the reset password to my g-mail account. I have reached out to the "contact us" and hope they respond.
After reading others who have struggled with the search feature, I realized that I have seen two different search features today. I found a list of jobs in my zip code area and the page had the familiar orange design on the page, and then I found one that is very different in the new blue design which starts with a large map of the country. I much prefer the older version.
Update is not at all user friendly so I…
Update is not at all user friendly so I am not finding jobs that are posted. Sometimes I find the postings then the next time says 0 jobs found. I can't save my search criteria to check each day for updates. Very frustrating.
Horrible update
Horrible update. Really bad design. You can’t search a board search anymore. You have to specify which job. Also doesn’t let you search with in a radius. Horrible horrible update
“updated” website/job search is terrible
They “updated” their website and search capabilities for job seekers and it is far less used than the old system. You can now only search by job title or number. So many different jobs have different names, you now miss out on many opportunities because you don’t they exist
Their site is clunky and unimpressive.
Their site is clunky and unimpressive. It is a one size fit all model which isn't appropriate for any school system that hires more than teachers. Additionally, their system is so antiquated it does not have text recognition for uploaded resumes for autofill. I won't apply for a job that allow for this type of poor system. Who wants to deal with lousy IT systems?
The site is legitimate but Tedious
The site is legitimate and it is certainly possible to find a job. However, the process is tedious. One must fill out each application separately with only minimum information imported from application to application.
I recommend nobody pay for SchoolSpring Plus. They deliver what they promise but it is useless. Almost all employers require that applicants fill out their own employment applications. Therefore, the profile sent from SchoolSpring serves absolutely no purpose. It is a colossal waste of time and money. I just wasted nearly $40 on the service. Don’t make the same mistake.
If anyone out there can help me sign in…
If anyone out there can help me sign in with School Spring please help I have been trying for 1 wk now they won't take my password then they ask for my security question which is the city I was born they tell me it's wrong LOL ugh so frustrating I see jobs I want to apply for and I can't HELP I need to speak to a person to get my security question correct !!!
COMPLETE WAIST OF TIME
COMPLETE WAIST OF TIME...You're going to spend more than an hour inputing all your info. Then you select "apply for job," and all it does is takes you to that schools online application where they've filled in your name, if that.
Don't waist your time filling in your info, just find the district you want to apply to and apply there.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS???
I don't know what some of these…
I don't know what some of these reviewers are talking about. SchoolSpring.com has been around a long time and is a dependable job search site. Many districts around here use it and it is a standard vehicle for posting school jobs. It is definitely not a scam. Odd accusation. I have gotten jobs through schoolspring.
Freezes and Never Works
This website is the worst. It constantly freezes and hardly ever works properly. Schools should move to better systems such as Applitrack
Antiquated application system
Antiquated application system - most schools want email attached pdf docs. Profile asks applicants for double entries of resume, background, transcripts. Labor intensive. During application, some school sites send you to another application site altogether to input same information again. Needs to update with new technology.
This is a fake website that was created…
This is a fake website that was created to steal your social security number and other sensitive information. I found it while using indeed.com. After clicking the "apply for job on company's website" link, I was taken to schoolspring.com instead of the districts website. At some point, schoolspring.com asked for my social security number. That's when I became uncomfortable. I thought that the school district may have been outsourcing their hiring process. So instead of continuing, I went directly to the actually school district's website and they were posting jobs and hiring events on their own platform. They had no links or mentioning of schoolspring.com at all. Not only that, the jobs that schoolspring.com had did not match the jobs that the district had posted on their website. I think schoolspring.com just re-published old jobs the school district had already posted onto indeed.com and then linked users to their website. I am pretty sure this is a bogus site that is doing a great job at phishing for social security numbers, addresses, and lots of sensitive information. You should log off and clear your cookies as quick as possible because I am sure that they will be looking to steal your credit card number and account login info as well.
