Sometimes it's best to await being enamored by the subtly of gifts even too oneself but I am proverbially moreish! =GunZenBomZ=
I bought a bracelet from Sabona for £75 including VAT, the item was exported to me in France where I had to pay 20% VAT again (I am not complaining about import duty). The government website states that if an item is exported then U.K. VAT does not apply. Sadly I have paid VAT twice. For a company which exports goods they should understand the rules.
