Order a side table which came with excellent service.. problem started when the item was opened an was damaged and poor quality in places, contacted customer service who said would arrange a collection.. no collection and trying to contact re the collection and ignoring emails... UPDATE, I have now had contact after writing the review and they have now have worked hard to rectify, much appreciated shame wasn't done in the first place as would be 5*

Beautiful lampshades
I ordered some lampshades that were out of stock and due back in the middle of October. They arrived at the end of September so that was pleasing. The quality and price were amazing. Very happy.

I needed to replace a Platinum Parasol…
I needed to replace a Platinum Parasol that was over 8 years old and had no reference of the model. After scouring the internet and utilising ChatGPT, I found a reference to a parasol in stock at Ruma that would be compatible with the granite base I already had. I contacted Ruma by phone and spoke to Amy. The call was picked up in one ring and from the first interaction to delivery, the professionalism, compassion and service was outstanding. Amy followed up the delivery of the item purchased out of courtesy - something you don't seem to experience nowadays and did all she could to ensure my item was delivered in the time I needed it as I was hosting family from abroad and wanted the parasol in time for their visit. I was so pleased by the human touch, care and compassion that I experienced in my contact and purchase with Ruma. They seem to be a company that is built on strong customer service and values care and compassion, during and after their sales. I will always go to Ruma for future purchases available from their range of products. In a world where the impact of the human touch seems to have been forgotten - Ruma has this in abundance which instils trust as a customer in the company. Keep it up Ruma...you are leaders in your field and you have gained a lifelong customer because you cared about what I needed when I needed it the most!

Arrived with no gas canister
Arrived with no gas canister. It’s probably on the detailed spec that it’s not included but who reads that? Product doesn’t work without it so a little like no plug on an electrical item. Really disappointing that you can’t get it working immediately.
