I have been using Rawlings for years. Great service & friendly staff. I particularly want to mention Helen. She is very thorough and explains things clearly in layman’s terms. She addresses any questions I have with patience and professionalism. I could not recommend highly enough.

Excellent eye examination from Katie, very thorough. No pressure to purchase glasses afterwards. Very happy with this optician.

There was no hard selling or if you buy today you get this offer discussion unlike other chain opticians which was very reassuring. Just good old fashion service putting the customer first.

Always friendly, helpful & trustworthy

I had ear-wax removal. £70 for about 7 minutes seems a bit excessive to me. Otherwise it was fine.

I went for an eye test as I have been having trouble reading books and music. I can honestly say that the service given by Rawlings is first rate, The lovely woman that did the eye test was exceptional. She explained what was going on and also my history of eye problems. I cannot thank her enough. Also, the receptionists were very good. If you're looking for excellent service this is the company to use. I highly recommend Rawlings at Purley.

Prompt and polite service with everything explained. Although no new glasses were required, adjusted the fitting on my existing pair at no cost.

My appointment was for a hearing examination.
I had some ear wax removed and then a full hearing test.
At all times everything was fully explained to me.
The test results were again explained to me in a way I could understand and I was shown the results in image form.
Nothing was rushed and when it came to a suitable hearing aid, there was no hard sell and all options including NHS were discussed.
I can recommend Mr Burrin at Rawlings in Purley.

I've been going to Rawlings Opticians for a few years now and have always received outstanding care. Simon is an exceptional Optometrist, he always goes above and beyond and is happy to answer any questions or concerns. I am very pleased that I can arrange an appointment with him at either of the 2 practices local to me. Dawn at Purley reception is lovely and always willing to help with a friendly smile. My eyes feel like they are in safe hands and I would highly recommend them.

Mike was very knowledgeable which gave me confidence before he dealt with my ears. The technical nature of his explanations was very reassuring. Ear wax removal was successful via micro suction. He didn't need to use irrigation. Surprisingly he didn't try and sell me anything and said there was nothing for me to apply in terms of aftercare. I also use the company for eye care and again I have received the same excellent service. The reception staff are also of a very high calibre.

This was my first visit to Rawlings at Hedge End. From my first visit to book an appointment to my consultation the staff were very friendly and efficient. The eye examination was very thorough and I was very impressed how things were explained to me. Can’t wait to pick up my new spectacles.

Great local opticians. The staff are really friendly and ready to help. I had an issue with one of my lenses and they were really thorough at sorting it out. They take their time and have a good selection of frames too. Highly recommend them.
