It’s honestly sad to say
It’s honestly sad to say, but I was really excited about this platform. I came across the survey through Freecash, under the BitLabs offerwall, which redirected me to Pilot.ly. I thought it was going to be great—something like Influence Video Surveys, but without the videos. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown.
Right off the bat, they hit you with an unnecessarily long list of questions before you even start the main task. Then, you’re asked to listen to a podcast or TV show that lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, followed by another round of detailed questions. I actually didn’t mind that—I put effort into my answers and took it seriously. But just as I was finishing, I got an error message, got kicked out, and received no credit. No explanation, no retry option, no support contact—nothing.
It’s incredibly frustrating to waste an hour or more of your time and have zero recourse. The worst part is that BitLabs, the offerwall provider, has no real system for users to dispute failed surveys or claim the credit they earned. That’s a major problem. Platforms like CPX Research handle these things far better—they offer partial credit, survey buffers, or at least acknowledgment when something goes wrong. BitLabs just leaves you hanging.
Maybe Pilot.ly isn’t ready for the kind of long-form surveys they’re trying to run, but the way BitLabs handles survey failures only makes it worse. If these errors keep happening, it’s a total waste of time for anyone doing surveys to make extra cash. I was genuinely hopeful, but getting booted at the very end after nearly two hours of effort is ridiculous. Until Pilot.ly and BitLabs fix their systems, I’d strongly suggest sticking with platforms like Influence or CPX that actually value your time and pay out properly.
