I bought the gps tracker for my parents who go on holiday with their dog. The charging for the gps tracker could be better: it must be removed from the collar/harness to charge which can be very fiddly/not very accessible with the velcro attachment. The app alerting to low battery levels is very helpful. The app is has very few customisation settings, mostly for updating dog details and account management. There is no way to customise notifications (the dog barking notification sound sent directly to my dad's hearing aids because they had a long walk was as surprising as it was unnecessary) or adjust the layout/popups to better meet the experience we want. The onboarding was helpful but requested some information such as postcode which has turned out only to be relevant to special offers we don't need. The app appears to be designed as a social media app based on meeting activity goals and competing with others. My parents are getting more use out of the gps tracker for their dog but they also find the design of the app to be irritating despite having used strava for their own exercise. I would still consider buying another gps for my dogs but am very put off by our experience of the app so far.
