Amazing Experience!

I had previously wasted time with smaller training providers, so my advice is simple: don’t make the same mistake. If you’re looking for motorcycle training, Phoenix Motorcycle Training is the place to go.

My instructor, Ben, was absolutely fantastic. This was my very first time riding a manual motorcycle, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He is incredibly patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about teaching. He believes in his students, gives you confidence, and makes you feel capable of succeeding.

The biggest challenge I faced wasn’t the bike, it was the weather! It was an extremely hot day, and because we have to wear full protective gear for safety, I was sweating a lot. Ben noticed whenever we were getting tired or uncomfortable and regularly stopped for short breaks to make sure everyone stayed comfortable, hydrated, and focused. That level of care really stood out.

The training itself was long, thorough, and incredibly educational. Ben didn’t just explain things in a parking area, he made sure we practised everything we learned in real traffic situations. If I made a mistake or didn’t understand something the first time, he never rushed or became frustrated. Instead, he patiently explained it again and again until I got it right. His calm approach made learning enjoyable rather than stressful.

My biggest recommendation is to check the weather before booking your training. Learning a completely new skill is much easier when you’re not dealing with extreme heat or heavy rain. That said, if you’re lucky enough to have an instructor like Ben, he’ll do everything he can to make the experience comfortable, enjoyable, and successful regardless of the conditions.

Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I would recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training to anyone without hesitation. Thank you, Ben, for your patience, professionalism, and for making my first experience on a manual motorcycle such a positive and memorable one!

Ben fan club

I would like to start by saying I had never touched a motorbike before, I was scared of the sound they made and on my first pre CBT lesson I didn’t move the bike…anyway Ben got me to my CBT in 3 lessons.

I’ve never met a more patient person in all my life, the instructions Ben gives are incredibly clear and tailored to whoever he is speaking to. I genuinely cannot believe I can move the bike, this is all down to how great Ben is as a teacher and how passionate he is! THANK YOU BEN!!! see ya soon for the full licence hehe 🏍️

Had my CBT today, both trainers/assessors were brilliant. They both explained everything well, great demonstrations in addition to make sure all was understood, and great experience on and off the Road, this was my 3rd CBT, 1st time with Phoenix and it was the best by far.

Great place to do your CBT

Did my CBT today here, first time ever on a bike. Ben, our instructor was fantastic and his passion for riding really came through. I was struggling in the initial part of the day and through his patience and encouragement I made it to the end of the day! Honestly had a good time and will be back for my DAS. Thanks Ben!

Can not recommend these guys enough

Can not recommend these guys enough. I was struggling with getting my CBT as I was new to riding a motorbike. But Ben my instructor really took his time with helping me get my head around the control. He built up my confidence, helped me with getting the manoeuvre down, and making sure I was safe on the bike and the roads. If you're struggling with your CBT, then I definitely recommend.
