I really like perks at work

I really like perks at work. It’s a great referral scheme and I have had nice deals and offers. On the rare occasion where I’ve had to email the service team again very efficient and turnaround time is quick and I would like to recognise Gilena who helped me with a query.

Very poor customer exp

Very poor. Customer experience. I’m a huge spender and for some reason I got locked out due to security issue on Monday. Despite several messages it has still not been resolved. No one is even responding which makes it worse! I’m being totally ignored. Not sure if it’s worth all the hassle anymore. Still I have my wow points to use up and will probably use someone else going forward.

Good customer service

Great points system and really positive customer service experience

I really enjoy using the Perks at Work app to accrue points on my grocery shops and various other bits throughout the year because it always goes a really long way at Christmas! I recently had an issue with the remote app that I use to access the system not working, and the Perks at Work team (specifically May-Ann) were really responsive, gracious and helpful. Thanks very much.

I've tried to redeem the voucher codes…

I've tried to redeem the voucher codes on the Vue website with an "Error booking" message popping at every attempt. I've spent the last hour and a half trying to do this with no avail. If you can't ensure that your coupons work with third party vendors, why even falsely advertise that it will work, accept non-refundable payments for the faulty tickets and then state that you can't refund consumers when you haven't delivered the product promised during purchase.


I'd like a refund of the voucher codes.

And then when trying to contact customer services, all they have is a form that won't let me submit this text instead of an actual number to call and resolve the issue.

Perks at work Cinema.. Where's the Saving???

This regarding Perks at work Cinema. It seems the cost of the voucher has gone up and is more than the cinema (vue) ticket itself!
For some reason the voucher is only redeemable for the cheapest (super saver) seat at £4.99 but the voucher costs £5, where's the saving??
It seems my local cinema has changed to multi band seating making the current voucher scheme worthless. I've asked for my money back because there is no advertised saving of up to 44% and raised this with customer services. For the couple of weeks I'm just going round in circles with them, to be finally offered Wowpoints. That's all they can do. This is ridiculous.

Great customer service

I had booked a stay at a hotel and had a terrible incident. The hotel wasn’t about to refund me but perks at work were really helpful. They were faster to respond than the hotel themselves. I feel comfortable booking with them again with their great customer service.

Wow points issue

Cheaper if you go direct

Historically using Perks for Work has been cheaper than buying direct at Odeon, and so I purchased 3 seats. £30. Upon booking on Odeon website I was given a £4 seat surcharge and a £3 booking fee. Had I booked direct with Odeon it would have been cheaper.

I could have booked direct, but where your tickets are ‘non refundable’ I would have been left with £30 (2.5 tickets 😂) being idle.

Absolutely no Customer Service / Support

I have used them for years. Sometimes decent discounts, other times a few good points, but the important aspect is you have absolutely no way to contact them. They have absolutely no Support whatsoever. Impossible to contact them via email, live chat or telephone. All you have is a very complicated contact form that asks you for too many details (I believe they do it deliberately to discourage you from contacting them). Even if you go through the test of fire to fill in their form with all the details, NO ONE WILL EVER ANSWER! Submitted the same case multiple times over the span of 6 months and nothing other than an automated email was ever sent to me. Completely disappointing!

customer service doesn't exist when comes to a problem with your account. There is no number to call o and speak with human, only a form where the is no communication with them.

Samsung TV employee pricing issue

I wanted to buy a new Samsung tv through the Perksatwork employee/ alumni buying program. I could not get the site to give me employee pricing so I contacted the Perksatwork team for help.
Mary Ann, among others, was very patient in helping me make sure my credential were correct. I tried for hours to make the purchase, working with PAW and Samsung. Finally, I realized my PAW redemption points were the culprit. Evidently, the site did not allow point redemption and employee pricing together.
I was able to place my order successfully once I removed the use points request.
I could not find where this would be an issue anywhere on the site and it allowed me to redeem points. Perhaps this is a system problem? The reps at Perks at work were very patient and helpful. They now know the answer to the question.

Wouldn't trust it.

I absolutely would not trust booking anything through this site. First time ever using the site, and I went through the booking steps to book a hotel and was met with an error that the booking could not be completed, but that my card was charged and I'd have to wait for the funds to return. So I'm stuck waiting for funds to return so that I may go book elsewhere, while the rate for hotels continues to rise and rooms continue to get booked. Perhaps just a terrible first experience, but what are the odds? I won't be using it again.

I had to cancel a trip with very short notice due to a family emergency. Though it was a bit of work to get in touch with the right people, I was able to get my trip canceled and refunded due to the extenuating circumstances. Thank you Angela!!
