The experience was good and rapid. I faced no issues. The return process was super. Perhaps, more info should be shared with the customers on the return route of the car in T1 to avoid confusion.

Worst car rental experience I have ever…

Worst car rental experience I have ever been to

We had to pay an additional 250 pounds because they had some stupid loop hole with booking.com they were abusing

Because we paid booking.com with Amex and paid in full… they would not accept the Amex when it came for a freeze charge for a just in case you have an accident.

Not even a tiny bit of compassion and only option was the pay DOUBLE !!! To rent the car under my partners name. This happened to 2 couples when we were there. Absolute scammers and just took advantage of the situation whilst smiling.

Un-able to cancel so only option was pay double.

Horrible way to start a trip and scammers

Paid car wasn’t available .

I rented a car 6 months ago and paid for the rental in full in advance in Olbia on the 20th of June.
When getting to their place, I’ve been told they had no cars available at all and that had happened with 7 more people during the same day.
I had the rent a car paying an amount 3 times more expensive from a different provider. I demand getting the difference of the fare back from them.

Thanks

The deposit that they don't return to you

Two weeks ago I rented a car. According to the contract, I returned it on time with a full tank. I was supposed to get my €100 deposit back, so I contacted customer service after waiting a week and not receiving the money. They never answer the phone, they don't have an email address, and they supposedly have an automated system that, obviously, doesn't work. In short, a scam.

DO NOT USE OK MOBILITY

We booked a car through EasyJet and paid the insurance for the car, when we arrived at Murcia airport your rep informed us that the insurance was not valid and we had to take out you extortionate insurance of over €300. They refused to come out to inspect the car so we took photographs of all the scratches. When we returned the car to the drop off the rep automatically went to the first scratch when I challenged her and showed her the photos we had already taken she backed off. You are an awful company ripping customers off knowing that unless they pay your insurance they will have no car. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Arrived at Alicante airport

Arrived at Alicante airport - the car we ordered wasn’t available therefore they upgraded to a Hybrid SUV.

Returning the vehicle, the operative who checked over the car stated the charging cable was missing and subsequently I have been charged €670. I can only assume I have been accused of theft.

I did the usual video checks on collection, however maybe naively I was unaware the car came with a charging cable and never did I think to check under the base of the boot on collection. I can’t find anywhere in the paperwork to say there was a cable.

Having complained to Customer Service, today I received a response from Marcos Marquines thanking me for understanding why they were refusing to refund me. Out of principle I will instruct my solicitor.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Do not rent from this company

I arrived at the OK Mobility desk with my three children to collect a car I had already paid £298 for through iHire. Unfortunately, the experience was so unpleasant that I ended up walking away, losing the money I'd paid and hiring from another company instead.

From the start, the member of staff dealing with us was rude, confrontational and, at times, quite intimidating. I completely understand that staff need to explain insurance options and company policies, but the tone of the conversation felt aggressive rather than helpful. As a customer, I felt under pressure rather than supported.

I was told that my independent insurance policy was not valid. Although I disagreed, I remained polite and even agreed to pay the substantial €1,950 security deposit because I had already spoken to my insurer and was confident my cover was valid.

The real issue came when I was asked to sign several declarations confirming that I accepted the rental terms and conditions before I had been allowed to read the rental agreement. I politely explained that I was happy to sign once I had seen the paperwork, but I was repeatedly told that I needed to sign first and that the agreement would only be provided afterwards.

I simply wasn't comfortable signing something I hadn't read. After nearly an hour of increasingly tense discussion, and having already seen another customer leave the office looking equally unhappy, I lost confidence in the process. I became worried that I could be agreeing to terms or liabilities that I hadn't been given the opportunity to understand properly.

In the end, I decided not to proceed. Although it meant writing off the £298 I'd already paid, I no longer trusted the situation and chose to hire a car elsewhere.

The whole experience was really upsetting. I was visibly distressed by the end of it, and my three children were upset too after witnessing the interaction. What should have been a quick and straightforward car collection became a stressful start to our holiday.

My issue isn't that OK Mobility offered additional insurance. It's that I felt pressured throughout the process, was treated discourteously, and was repeatedly asked to sign contractual declarations before being allowed to read the contract itself. That simply didn't feel right, and it's why I chose to take my business elsewhere.

Rented us a broken vehicle. Bad Roadside Service. Don't Use..

I cannot recommend this company. They still owe me money.

We rented a car (expensive too, 5 seater electric vehicle) that malfunctioned a few days in to a week-long trip in Tuscany; it basically had a major electrical fault that turned the whole thing into a giant brick. Luckily it was parked in an underground multi-storey at the time and NOT driving. We were checking on the car the day before we needed it. Got there to find it had lost all power and the doors were unlocked and couldn't be locked again.

I do not know what would have happened had we been driving when the car lost all power, instead of being parked in a multi-storey car park. Pretty terrifying.

We had to wait 6 hours for roadside assistance to arrive, which took a full day from our holidays off the table. We were passed on the phone between endless uninformed people as they tried to organise roadside assistance.

The engineer who arrived fiddled with the front of the car, and it suddenly regained and then immediately lost power while he was there. So it was obviously unusable, flickering in and out, losing all power randomly.

We had to book train tickets home instead of driving, and while OKMobility claimed they would cover these ticket costs (and presumably refund the day and a half of rental time after the car broke down and was not usable) nobody bothered to reply to my email which set out what we had experienced.

Had they been proactive in resolving this last step I would have placed more blame on the manufacturer of the car (it was an MG Marvel R electric vehicle - don't bother! Critical Malfunctions) - but after more than a week of silence it's clear they've simply drawn a line under my case and are otherwise engaged providing terrible service to others. I'm not chasing them.

We have waited enough.

Avoid - if things go wrong, you're on your own.

This company are the worst car rental…

This company are the worst car rental company i have ever known.
Made a booking on-line that I needed to extend, no one picks up on the Spanish number, been holding two days in a row for in excess of 45mins so I drove to the rental office at Murcia airport where I am due to collect the car and they said they cant help me. Shocking service.

An absolute horror to deal with

An absolute horror to deal with. All they are doing is trying to get you to pay an additional €500 to cover for an accident which means you don't have ongoing use of a vehicle during your stay. Stay well clear. They also dont accept credit cards fome online banks. But they can solve that if you pay an extra €600

Do not trust anything this vendor says

Do not trust anything this vendor says. They are the biggest hustlers I have ever seen in this type of business. The staff hardly spoke any english, but kept saying reservation on creditcard only. But in reality they charged €555.84 on top of what we already had paid the full rent in advance. €90 was a Fuel charge even though we returned the car full as they requested.

Absolutely scammed by this company

Absolutely scammed by this company. Booked a car through Booking.com to pick up at the Kefalonia Airport office, paid upfront and took out full insurance. On collecting the car employee confirmed all paid upfront but they needed to take £100 refundable deposit to cover loss of keys and fuel. Then put a document in front of me and told me to sign in 2 places. Like an idiot I didn’t read it first! When I returned the car they took my card again ‘to refund the £100’. When I got home and checked my account they hadn’t taken or refunded £100 but had taken €250 . After investigation it turned out I had signed for the company’s full insurance and roadside assistance for the week which came to €250! I neither wanted or needed this and it was never mentioned in the office! I was totally deceived into signing, page was put in front of me and was told ‘sign here and here’. I can only assume the employees are on some kind of bonus if they get you to sign up for these things. Don’t use this company! And make sure you read what you’re signing!

Underhanded and fraudulent sales…

Underhanded and fraudulent sales practice. I made my booking through booking.com and chose to waive the insurance during the booking process as my credit card offers full rental car coverage. I brought that coverage policy with me to the check-in desk and was told I’d have to pay €160 for insurance they offer in order to leave with the car. Even though I had declined coverage they said they would not accept that and that I must purchase their insurance. I will never use booking.com again to book a car and I am planning on raising this to a higher level with OK mobility and booking.com. This is an underhanded practice and the insurance was three times more than the cost of the rental. It really tarnished the entire vacation.

Booked a car at Barcelona through a 3rd…

Booked a car at Barcelona through a 3rd party. Flight got delayed so arrived after they were shut. Went back to airport the morning after to pick up car and all they said was there was that there wasn’t a car for me. I asked where the car was that I had paid for and the guy got increasingly aggressive and insisted there was no car. Completely unhelpful in trying to resolve the issue and no explanation.

Avoid OK Mobility.

Avoid OK Mobility.

I had a confirmed booking at Olbia Airport (5–14 June), made months in advance. When I arrived, I was told there were no cars available due to overbooking.

No alternative was offered. No support. Nothing.

I was travelling with my family and a young child, and we were left stranded at the airport with no transport. We were forced to use public transport and find temporary arrangements just to continue our holiday.

This is unacceptable for a company that takes confirmed bookings. Overbooking without providing a solution shows a lack of reliability and customer care.

I would not use this company again.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I booked through Booking.com, and when I collected the car, I felt they forcefully mis-sold insurance to me.

After returning the car, they failed to refund £83. I contacted them, and they told me there had been an error and that they would release the deposit. However, I never received the money.

After I raised this with my credit card provider, OK Mobility sent them a bundle of documents claiming they had the right to charge me. In my view, this is completely unacceptable. There was no evidence of any damage to the car, and I returned it with a full tank of petrol.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

You WILL be paying more than you think!!

We booked our car in the UK through Economy Car Rentals. We paid all the optional extras (insurances) at a total cost of ~£140 for a week (we asked fir a small car & got a Fiat Panda, ideal).
Imagine our surprise when we collected the car & was told we only had basic insurance. No problem they said, you have a choice. You can photograph the whole of the car, leave a 1000 euro deposit and IF there is no damage we will return your money when you return the car. OR, pay a further 250 euros and any damage is covered. When I questioned us leaving for home and them having a charge on our credit card he replied it shouldn't be a problem IF the car is undamaged, with a smirk on his face.
Use this company at your peril.
