Avoid, no customer service . Have been trying to contact for weeks now . You can't call them , have tried to message but got a response back with someone elses name on it , trying to register for an account but it keeps saying details are wrong . So frustrating just want to speak to someone to sort this out.

I have just received a letter saying that my payment failed. Which took ten days to arrive, why not send an email which would be so much quicker. I have checked and you have the wrong sort code for the direct debit, whether my fault or yours I don’t know. I have tried to correct it on your website, however it said there was a problem. I have spent an hour with your online chat advisor, who kept disappearing for 10 minutes at a time. Who was not particularly knowledgeable. At the end he said that as I had already made the missed payment it would have updated my details and the direct debit should be set up. Waste of an hour. I have kept a transcript of the conversation so will wait to see it he was correct. Not impressed so far.

Nutshell was the cheapest quote for the same cover as other insurers, their process and set up is easy, everything is online and the services that may be needed were clearly explained, ie dedicated claims line, customer service Web chat.

PLEASE BE AWARE!!!awful awful site they take your monies then cancel you on wrong information you then send them emails to correct the details they dont respond they have no contact number to their accounts to get monies back -DAYLIGHT ROBBERY if you get through to another department of theirs after long call waiting service of waiting they say they cant discuss policy only via online chat services so not only have i gone elsewhere they have KEPT my monies and there is no way of communicating with them due to policy no longer there and no email to reach them on unless you are a new customer---PLEASE BE AWARE!!!

WORST INSURERS AVAILABLE
Took out a policy, got the date wrong of an accident that had no claim against me wrong . Nutshell asked for information so I contacted my previous insurance provider who sent me an email containing the correct details and proof of no issues. Absolutely no contact back from nutshell , the chat system is a waste of time and on top of that they have now cancelled the policy without any conversion with me about rhe info rhat I have sent them which is exactly what they asked for .

NO COMPANY SHOULD BE ABLE TO OPERATE IN THIS WAY WITH NO FORMS OF MEANINGFUL CONTACT, DONT CHECK OR COMMUNICATE THE INFO YOU SEND THEM WHEN THEY ASK FOR IT AND CANCEL YOUR POLICY WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMUNICATION LEAVING YOU STRANDED WITH AND AT RISK OF PROSECUTION.

The policy incorrectly stated that my car was a manual, when I tried to put this right it was difficult to get hold of a "real person" as it was bank holiday. The following day I spent an hour messaging an agent who eventually said I could get a refund but £25 would be deducted even though it was not my fault, it was their mistake.

Just bought a policy with breakdown cover. I cannot see any information on the breakdown part other than quoting it is with RAC. Policy starts in a few days so tried the Online Chat help to get the details. Sods law if you breakdown it will be on day one.
Chat Help does not launch. Contact us does nothing either.

After cancell Ing my policy with nutshel company about 2 weeks ago because of the wrong information their virtual assistance has given me. I stayed with my current insurance company which automatickly deducted money from my bank account. Now, God know why nutshel deductec me money again for the policy this morning if my policy which lasted only 30 min with them. So Just shows you people what mess they have got in their system. Looks like My cancell ed policy they renewed WITHOUT my permission where I ve never had a policy with them longer than 30 min. Shocking company and disgrace. To those Who are considering to buy anything from them do not buy it. They have got a mess in system

Had always been with quotemehappy up until this years renewal quote which was increasing by another £100 for no apparent reason and no explanation available so looked around and found Nutshell through Moneysupermarket.com it was a no brainer equal cover for less money and having never ever made a claim in over 50 odd years of driving i thought it was a cheek to charge more after yet another year of no claims. Simple process and wifes car will also be moving across when it needs insuring in a month or two.
