myZedora is a self-hosted CMS ecosystem built for people who want a simple, clean and expandable way to create websites without unnecessary clutter. It is designed around a lightweight core, flexible templates and optional extensions, so each website can start small and grow depending on its real needs. The project focuses on clarity, control, safety and long-term stability. Users can manage pages, articles, media, languages, templates, extensions, updates, security tools and website settings from a built-in control panel. myZedora also supports modern features such as passkeys, two-factor authentication, safe updates, language fallback, diagnostics, soft navigation and extension-based functionality. Instead of forcing one fixed website style, myZedora gives every project room to become something different. A website can be a personal portfolio, business page, community platform, download library, blog, media hub, store or something custom built around extensions and templates. The goal of myZedora is to offer a CMS that feels approachable for everyday users, while still giving developers and creators a structured ecosystem they can build on with confidence. It is made for people who want ownership, privacy and creative freedom without losing simplicity.

Excellent lightweight solution for anyone who wants clarity and control

I have been using myZedora for several months for a personal/professional site and I am very satisfied.
Its biggest advantage is its simplicity. Unlike WordPress which after a while becomes full of plugins and becomes heavy, myZedora remains light, fast and clean. The core is strong and covers the basics (pages, articles, members, media, menus) very well.
I particularly liked:
The fast navigation without full refresh (very pleasant for the visitor)
The updates system that separates core / templates / extensions (very smart)
The clean architecture for developers
That it is a Greek project and is actively developed
Ideal for portfolios, blogs, small-medium websites and projects where you want to have full control without unnecessary burdens. I highly recommend it!

The only thing I would like to see in the future is a larger ecosystem of templates and extensions, so that the community can grow even more.
