I ordered 2 Mozu dolls and had a great customer experience and support while waiting for them. I'm very happy with my new dolls and my purchase. I wouldn't hesitate l buy from MRD again and can highly recommend them to anyone.

Just a generally good vendor

I had an excellent experience with My Robot Doll, and I want to share it so others can feel confident ordering from them. During my order, the manufacturer Starpery accidentally shipped the wrong head model. While this issue was entirely on Starpery’s end, My Robot Doll immediately took responsibility for coordinating the fix and went above and beyond to make things right.

If you're new to shopping for this kind of product, it can be daunting - there are many scams out there, counterfeit merchandise, drop shippers, stolen photographs from other distributors, etc. so I made a point of doing extensive research before I purchased my first item, and I'm so glad that I ended up trying MRD for my first purchase. I've made 3 purchases here (all Starpery), and when it's time for a fourth I know where I'll be going.

Their customer service representative, Alice, deserves special recognition. She handled everything with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional communication. From the moment I reached out, she kept me updated every step of the way, arranged for a new head to be produced and shipped, and even sent detailed pre-shipment photos to ensure everything was perfect before dispatch. The replacement was arranged quickly, and the result exceeded my expectations — the correct Iris head with the brunette wig looks fantastic in the photos, and I'll have it shortly as I just received the shipment tracking number.

What really stood out was how committed My Robot Doll is to after-sales support and customer satisfaction. Many companies are great until the sale is complete, but My Robot Doll continues to deliver afterward. They clearly care about their customers and take pride in maintaining trust and transparency.

Highly recommended. If you’re considering ordering, you can do so with full confidence - they truly stand behind what they sell, and with people like Alice on the team, you’ll be in excellent hands, and the pricing and ship time for USA stock items is terrific.

Skylite SRL / M.R.D. has gone far above and beyond in terms of customer service for me, and I truly appreciate it. I ordered an item from them. It was delivered via UPS. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital on the day the first delivery attempt was made. After returning home, I checked the tracking, and it showed that the UPS driver had MARKED IT AS "REFUSED BY RECIPIENT" on that first delivery attempt, and it was on its way back to China! The UPS driver lied because they didn't want to keep it on their truck and have to re-attempt a second delivery. I googled and found this is not uncommon with UPS since their drivers are held to extreme timelines. Skylite SRL / M.R.D. customer service went out of their way to track down the package and get it sent back to me. The product quality was outstanding also.

MRD is an excellent seller! They are friendly, professional, and promptly respond to any questions or problems. Also, their website is almost always up to date with manufacturers promotions and products.

Throughout the whole process MRD was very professional and always quick to reply. Alice was very considerate, taking enough time to answer all my questions without pushing me to make an order.
Back then, she was even so kind to inform me about a "soon upcoming new model" before I made the purchase, giving me the chance to reconsider.

Would always choose MRD as vendor again...

Purchased a Tayu 150C from this distributor. In short, you can 100% trust MRD for their integrity, quick responses, and discretion. I had this doll on layaway for MUCH longer than anticipated (1.5 years, unfortunately ran into a budget issue). They patiently held onto the 50% downpayment during this time, and assured me that everything was fine - which it was since I've since completed the payment and now have the doll of my dreams. I'm very grateful for that - not that I was uncertain of their integrity, but it was just an awkward position to be in, and they kept their word the entire way. If you're on the fence about which distributor to choose, go with MRD - hard to say that without sounding like a car commercial but I actually mean it!

After owning a doll from this company for about half a year, I can safely say I would recommend their products. It goes without saying that no product or service is perfect, but I find little to complain about that would prevent me from buying or recommending them.

What's not to complain about:
• Great communication throughout the buying process until the product landed at my front door. I was answered with every question I had, quite promptly I might add.
• Details on care are provided on-site, as well as a few items for care included with the purchased doll. I also loved the nice blanket used to wrap her up in her transport. It's clear the doll was very carefully prepped for the long journey and that is appreciated.
• The quality is excellent, especially the makeup. Great time and care were taken to ensure the quality met and exceeded customer expectations.

What's to complain about:
• Exorbitant pricing. There are other similar options available elsewhere for less; however, their quality or trustworthiness are questionable compared to MyRobotDoll.
• Some quality issues. Fingertips, for example, are insanely easy to damage with little pressure or abrasion, which will occur naturally when moving the doll. I'm not sure this can be prevented, but it's an issue that has affected 7 of the 10 fingers on the doll. The wig is also an issue - such a poor quality wig for such an expensive purchase. For $3000+ a better wig is probably a good idea. Perhaps sourcing out a better supplier for those is in order.
• I was under the impression that having a doll with loose joints would make it easier to move around, and it's described as "loose joints for more realistic intimacy" on the website. Correct, a stiff doll would feel like a cadaver, and nobody wants that. However, I would say unfortunately a doll with loose joints is nigh impossible to enjoy, as even after breaking it in, the limbs want to return to their original positions no matter how hard you try to pose it. This makes literally anything - including simply cuddling - nearly impossible.

All in all, I would most likely be a return customer, should I have the money to do so again, and I would highly recommend MyRobotDoll, at least for the anime-style dolls.

All customer service provided by Alice was supreme. She's great. Kind, patience and very customer oriented. Doll came a few days earlier than expected and in perfect conditions.

I got my first doll from MyRobotDoll, a Top CYdoll, and I’m very happy with my choice. Alice made it such great experience, she put so much attention to detail to my requests, kept in touch with updates, and I love her communication style. And the website layout is great also. Custom dolls can take time from the factory itself, about 3-4 weeks plus shipping, but the wait was so worth it. I recommend this vendor, I just ordered an additional head, and will buy from MyRobotDoll again.

If you are looking to purchase a high quality doll from an exceptional vendor, My Robot Doll should be on your short list.

Alice at MRD took excellent care of me throughout the entire process, from initial inquiry all the way through to after my TAYU doll was delivered. As a first time buyer of a full-size high-end doll, Alice was extremely helpful with my many questions and concerns. She was always kind in her reply and despite the time zone difference, typically got back to me within a day or less. Considering that there were likely times when she needed to reach out to TAYU before answering my questions, this was remarkable. Alice kept me fully informed during the interminable wait after placing my order, continuing to answer my questions.

I received my factory photos and videos when she said I would. And when I noted a possible concern with one of the fingers after watching the factory video, she contacted TAYU and had them send additional video to reassure me that everything was as it should be.

My delivery came within a couple days of the estimated date, which was pretty remarkable given that it was right after the holidays. I had a few questions concerning my doll after receiving her and Alice continued with amazing support and timely replies even though the transaction had been completed. To me, that constitutes exemplary customer service.

MRD web page is well designed, pleasant on the eyes, easy to navigate and understand with an amazing Doll catalog. MRD also has the most pictures out there for each Doll brand they sell, from 15 to sometimes 30 + pictures of a Doll including videos which is important in deciding which Doll is right for you. Once you place your order you’ll receive an email from Alice. She is very professional, caring and most importantly very patient and informative. Whatever fears, doubts, questions I had were always answered in a very polite manner. You can’t go wrong with MRD for a purchase. I’m a very happy customer and in the end that's what matters.

I ordered two Tayu dolls from MRD and I'm satisfied with them. The communication with Alice was perfect. I got my dolls cheaper because of a discount from the manufacturer and only MRD had offered this.
I've also ordered from other sellers, but my best experience so far has been with MyRobotDoll.
