I ordered a replacement shaving bowl for my husband and the website showed the one I wanted with silver rim. I order it, paid for postage, but when it arrived it was the wrong one, it did not have the silver rim. I contacted Muhle who said the one I wanted had been discontinued and I could return the item but it would be at my own cost. I contacted them again said this would cost me £10 to have the item delivered and returned, for an item that only cost £24.30. The gentlemen said he was sorry I had a bad experience but did nothing to fix the problem. I shall NEVER buy anything from Muhleshaving again with this lack of customer service.

The brush looks excellent. My only gripe with it is that it has basically no backbone. It makes it tough to lather. If you need something that doesn't just flop over when you lightly press on it, I would get something else. It's definitely much less stiff than real silvertip badger.

I have been enjoying a new-found pleasure of using the Traditional Chrome closed-comb safety razor and real badger hair brush. These are absolutely exceptionally-made, beautiful, and old-fashioned shaving instruments. What used to be a chore has truly become a pleasurable experience. The razor blades are also very smooth. Shaving my neck area has historically been something of a misery, as my skin there is sensitive, and multi-blade razors have caused irritation, along with wearing collared shirts at work. Since discovery Muehle, this has not been the case, and my skin is ultra-smooth and not irritated at all. Besides that practical enjoyment, I love seeing the instruments on my bathroom counter -- reminds me of my grandfather! Thank you for exceptional craftsmanship and service!

I had recently stumbled upon Muhleshaving.com when I did an internet search of “top company’s that produce and or sell higher end shaving products.” There are a few. Some way out of my price range and some not. I chose Muhles because of reviews, the look of their products and how they were priced. Very fine shaving supplies in my opinion . I had only ordered one shave soap when I bought the razor and brush set. I liked the Sandlewood soap. This time I went with the 3 pack of a variety of shave soaps and purchased shaving towels too. Shipping is quick and prices are a touch high but, I feel you get what you pay for and that’s just me. The towels are high quality and larger than I had anticipated. The soaps came in a nice box. If you were to buy a razor set from this company, yes, costs are on the pricey side but, you will use that set for many many years. I love mine and sometimes we deserve nice things for ourselves. Wouldn’t you agree?

Easy to navigate, lots of variety (shaving brushes, for example), and the packages are nice, too. Muhle is tops in my book for shaving gear.

The razor is not too aggressive and I did not nick myself with it, vary satisfied with the quality of the shave.
