I used it for about 4 hours and had a good time. The the lag wasn't too bad and the server itself started up fairly quickly (first-time start-up takes time though). My main issue is that your server gets disabled if you don't use it for 3 days and you have to pay to get it back. That's kinda bs tbh, and it really sucks if you ever want to take a break and come back after a few weeks.

I have struggled for weeks to unsubscribe, customer service has not replied to any of my three tickets I have opened in this matter. The server can take ages to start up, and sometimes you can't even join because it "times out"

Today, i finally unlocked my server with paying. They lock your server every 3 days of inactivity. You need to pay 6 dollars to get it back. They say, this is to "save storage space". Guess what. I payed, and i did not get my server back. It automaticly deleted. Should i sue? Now i realise it makes 0 sense, they just deny your acces to save storage, but its supposed to still be there? How does that save storage? Only thing it saves is their bankruptcy

crashes and terrible performance
1. servers have terrible performance that quickly moving or ~6 accounts spamming messages can crash them
2. bots are joining minefort regularly and spamming some weird messages, both lobbies and player servers
3. servers are getting deleted after 3 days of no usage
wouldn't recommend :/. back then, like a year ago, minefort was an actually good website. it was a great community, with owners receiving much help from players, and your servers weren't getting » deleted. I myself paid for an icon or a server plan not once, and I was satisfied. didn't do it for money - fun instead.

these things don't only happen at 05/16 - the date I specified. it will be the same. and it was since like january or earlier.

İt was okay. Chunks were good. But in the very beginning world was a little bit delayed. So I died one time because of the delay. After some playing there was no problem. İt was a good ecperience for a free server. Thanks. (Sorry for my bad english)

i dont like it that much cuz im a 14 year old kid trying to make my own server and i cant pay online and i dont need to pay

I made a survival server to play with my friend on Java Edition and I love it, I have gotten very far in it like finding diamonds and going to the nether which I haven't done on mc java edition before, but that isn't anything to do with the server, I love the wake up feature and how there is no Queue and it is very easy to access the commands to suppose turn on Keep Inventory, but I think the world options should be in the website so I can turn on cheats like keep inventory which I need cuz the nether hates me and that is why I am giving it 4 stars, also for some reason I cant join the servers in the Minefort hub, whenever I join them it just sends me to the hub again, I can only play my own server

Really cool how they sprang a need for a paid plain to keep your servers, no such thing as free server on Minefort, even if I just want to play once a week with my friends.

I've just set up my ChaosSMP and it was amazing!
Only 4 stars because the hibernation idea is confusing and annoying.

One of the best Minecraft server providers out there it gives a lot of storage and it doesn't take a lot of time to open the server the two things that im only having problems with this is if you explore too fast it affects everybody’s ping and the 3 days if you dont start the server it will expire

Premium server (11,50 a month) lags out. On a server with no plugins and no mods. Support ignores me. Terrible provider. Wouldn't recommend

The servers are great, So is server Hosting but once i created my server i realised my font was wierd when i typed in chat

It is good to make a small smp for free for 2-5 players. But, if you are not from Europe, you might face issues regarding the ping. As an Indian I get 100-250 ms while playing which makes it frustrating. If minefort adds a Singaporean or Indian server to the hosting it will be very popular among asian gamers.

The server works nice but it's still lagging

The free servers are great other than the fact that after a few days you can't access the world forever. Other server platforms at least only have a five minute countdown till the server is turned off not locked out permanently
