We bought 3 beds from Mattress world 5 years when we moved house, great quality and excellent value for money. 5 years later and a house move and it was time to get some new beds to fit the new house. Didn't even need to think about where we would be getting them from. Straight to Mattress World. Once again fantastic customer service, excellent value for money and amazing choice. 3 more beds bought along with 4 mattresses (we kept our original bed, still like brand new) what made it really nice was that Sean remembered us from previous, purely down to our bed we still had. Couldn't recommend them enough. And will gladly go back when we're ready for our next upgrade. Thank you to everyone at Mattress World. Great team of guys and such a great choice.

I ordered a mattress from this company in January. And took it down to my holiday home We decided to leave it wrapped until now so it would stay clean until we were ready too use it Big mistake The mattress was described as a 10 inch Orthopaedic Spring and memory foam mattress What a piece of rubbish it is ORTHOPAEDIC? NEVER Memery Foam? NIL Sprung? yes But NASTY Wire which flatten on the slightest pressure 10 inches? What a joke This one doesn't even rise This is definately not fit for the purpose which it is sold and totally unfit to lie on BUT because I am now past the magic 30 day money back guarantee period I don't have a leg to stand on Customer Service none existant I have written three emails about this and had no response They just don't care This mattress is now on its way to my local Tip where it should have gone in the first place I have learned my lesson the hard way but will be more careful next time

I contacted this company to find out if a mattress listed on their website was available for delivery. The sales agent told me that he will only be able to tell me after I place an order and PAY! What if the item was not in stock? he told me a refund would be issued and it will take a wee to ten days!! So you pay your money just to tell you they dont have what you want and wait for your money. Cheek! needless to say I told them what to do with their mattress KEEP IT and I keep my money !

Same as everyone else. Ordered 2 mattresses with free next day delivery, sent a specific time slot and they never turned up. Starting to feel I have been conned. Needed these so my children could stay with me over Christmas, wish I had looked at these reviews first.
Disgusting company
Disgusting company. I expected better as they are part of Dunelm WRONG. 4 weeks from order date I am still waiting for mattres. Payed extra for Saturday delivery. They have failed to deliver 5 times now . Excuses range from the mattres was damaged leaving the warehouse so had to be reordered then Oh the wrong order was put in then just not turning up don't let you know what's happening. It's up to you to keep chasing them wich is pointless & impossible emails unanswered & phone calls taking as long as 50 mins to get through . Matress was due again this saturday guess what cancelled due to mix up with delivery now due Wednesday.. Never had a problem with Dunelm but they are going to get a bad reputation associated with mattres world . We live in hope for Wednesday mean while son's 4th week on sofa not a great situation.

This company have extra-ordinarily asked me to renew or expand upon my remarks made 5 years ago. This is irrelevent and confirms that the lack of response then is equally applicable to now. Why do they need further explanation now, five years later? Do they not understand plain english. I confirm that their customer service still falls short of my standards.
Ordered a bed on next day delivery on the 9th. Still not received. No response from emails and 39 minute phone call. The inadequate and feeble lip service to customer relations and the pathetic and non existent systems to track orders is both distressing and alarming.

Appalling customer service
It's a shame the customer service and delivery didn't match the quality of the mattress, which is great. Was sent a message day before confirming delivery and waited in all day but it didn't show up; rang up as noone had got in touch, only to be told that tech issues their end meant that loads of orders hadn't gone out, but that it was coming the next day! And no apology. Told them I wasn't in that day, so they eventually agreed to deliver it the day after (Sat). Asked them for confirmation email (lots of hand-holding going on here), which I received about 4.30pm saying it would be delivered on the Sat. Friday morning received a text cheerily informing me that the mattress was out for delivery that day!! Furious as at work, rang and asked a very non-apologetic adviser to cancel it and confirm delivery for Sat, as promised. But she only ever emailed to say she was going to try and cancel it, and that was the last I ever heard. I came home on Friday to find my new mattress stuffed into my porch, un-signed for (which I believe is a requirement) and available for anyone to take who fancied it (I live on a busy road). To say that I am unimpressed is a massive understatement. No apologies, abysmal communication, 3 phonecalls at premium rates that were all necessitated by your incompetence and that I will have to pay for, and clearly at least 2 advisers incapable of doing the basics. I won't be recommending your site to anyone and will avoid it myself at all costs.

"Buy your mattress and get next day delivery" you do so and try to use their track your order section on your confirmation email. After it hasn't been updated for 36 hours, they don't answer the phone and don't respond to emails then it dawns on you that your mattress isn't going to arrive certainly next day if ever.
I've had to raise a dispute through PayPal to get my money refunded. I've gone to John Lewis (as I should have done in the first place).

DONT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered and paid for a mattress back in July for delivery on 11th August when I was moving into my new flat. On 4th Aug, I received an email telling me that my mattress would be delivered as agreed. On the 11th no mattress appeared. On speaking to the couriers (Arrow), I was told that they had not even received the goods yet. As a result, I had nothing to sleep on. I have been trying to contact this company with absolutely no luck, just continually on hold. There has been no response to my emails and I have now asked to cancel. Their customer services are a joke and nobody has the decency to even pretend to deal with you. I even tried to ring on Saturday, but customer services are shut. However, it does state on the website that the "aftersales" team work, but god knows what they do as you cannot get to speak to them either. I am now trying to get my refund and some compensation, but this joke of a company will no doubt try to wriggle out of that too.
For the sake of your wallet and your sanity, go elsewhere and have nothing to do with this "company". They are apparently part of Dunelm, and Dunelm should be ashamed to be associated with these clowns.

Ordered new mattress all booked got conformation email mattress dispatched for next day courier sent email to confirm delivery for a day later than mattressworld said courier told me mattressworld cancelled delivery and re booked it tried to phone mattressworld know-one answered the phones courier was great got delivery day after it should have arrived courier phoned at least 3 times to update me. Mattressworld no communication the mattress is great can't fault the product or price but mattressworld customer service sucks one week later email from them blaming courier for warehouse fire in April i ordered in July when I emailed my complaint I said I at least expected a phone call they could not even do this

Next day delivery of a mattress booked. Next day the tracking service still says that it was not dispatched. Called the company and was told that the mattress is on its way as agreed. Wasted the whole day, the tracking system still says not posted a few hours before the last hour of possible delivery. Called the company again... Nope they did NOT post it and have unilaterally changed the delivery date (of course even without bothering to tell me). Money taken, oh, but the refund will take 5 working days!!! Manure company, dung service, guano all around!
